Does the darkhourse crank you did come with the 107 kit or is it zippers crank. And is it welded and trued? I'm looking at buying a muscle.107 kit from them. 5 grand is alot so I'm definitely doing my research as far as just putting a kit together myself with a sns 4-3/8" crank, sns jugs, hpi throttle body, comp cams pushrods and lifters,,....on and on...lol

Check and fix the crank runout first unless you plan on changing flywheels.

Very knowledgeable shop good info . I use Wood cams. NHRA drag racing record holder builds them for Harleys . Also he Bob Wood will recommend you to use DC cycle racing in Red Bay Alambama. They have al of of state of the art equipment and many licenses needed to program bikes that a lot of shops don’t have, can’t afford., not cert to do. These wood cams are built and designed for M8 seen SAE Hp builds up to 200 Hp with them. Very knowledgeable shop like these fellas but David Crane at DC has decades of experience and is the Mecca of Harley power east of of the Mississippi . Im in south florida and went/rode there to get work done by pros honest and no bs. People that know go there from all over this country. wood cams sees all dynos from shop. When an. NHRA record holder tells ya that thud is one of the only shops he sends stuff too that says a lot. Ya ever get that way it would be nice to see ya interview them. They build them to run strong as well as fast if that’s the direction someone wants to go. Seen a lot of big builds rollin out the door .

Do they have an install video like fuel Moto? Obviously the Harley Bibles are worth their weight in gold, but it's always nice to have a visual walk through for a first timer wanting to do this on their own.

You have to decide on what you want your end result to be. Your only real option is to save and or buy parts based on your strict plan as your finances allow. Why, because all Harley upgrades are "expensive." Even if you were to do a "STOCK" rebuild, the price difference of a performance build would vary only slightly. WHY GO STOCK if you have an option to upgrade?
