The Dollar Tree in my area (NC) sells little silicone finger caps. They work great to protect your fingers from burns when melting 2 strands together! 🙂

To add to your comment, they also sell 25 ft hanks of 550 for $1.25. Perfect amount for 2-3 bracelets. 🤙

Thank you so much for all the tutorials over the years! Have had rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years, leaving my hands disfigured. Also, being a mechanic/fabricator of 100+ year old printing machines. I have broken 6 fingers, nearly loosing two. These videos are the best therapy for my hands.

Thank you for doing some projects that take 95 and/or micro cord. They make great bracelets for my grandkids! I'm going to weave this one today in 95 with burgundy and white. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Have you ever tried a lanyard braid, typically known as a 4 strand square braid, in a 8 strand rectangle. The dims are 2 strands wide and 6 strands long. If you start a twist then reverse after a few inches, you get a cool design. This rectangle can split off into 2 - 4 strand square braids. Makes for a fancy key chain or game call lanyard.

I’ve see. This zipper Sinnet on 275 Paracord as a lanyard and it’s stunning and I was about to search utube for a video when this landed in my inbox! Perfect timing Tim! I wish we had the same access to Paracording paraphernalia here in the U.K. as you have there!

Hi there. Great tutorial. What will the length +- be for the green and burgundy cord?

Hi Tim, what is the thickness of these 2 when finished? I’m needing one that is about 6mm thick. Thanks

Love the tutorial, a question I’ve read that a Zipper Sinnet and a rune of destiny are the same but one is rounder on a core than the other - is that right or are they just the same? Looking for the one that’s rounder for a torch lanyard. Thanks

BTW, do you have to add extra cord length when you are using the 95 cord, or is it the same calculation? Sorry, I'm just a beginner.🙂

Hey Richard, sorry for the late reply on this. If you still need help with cord length, just let me know!

How can I avoid having the finishing burn show on my works? I feel like my bracelets looks not as professional when the melted plastic is visible anywhere on the product.
@TheWeaversofEternity8 ай бұрын
It really depends on the project. Sometimes you can find areas/ways to tuck the running ends in somewhere to hide them, but I've found that a majority of the time, the best you can do is hide them on the back of a bracelet, or you just have to snip/melt them where they are.

I’ve been wondering how you could make a proper shark jawbone mad max style paracord bracelet. I’ve been searching but couldn’t find decent video to help out.

Nice bracelet! Why did you choose a double snake instead of a double diamond?
@TheWeaversofEternity2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! No particular reason, other than to keep the video simple. I noticed a lot of people stop watching when I start tying the diamond knot as it can be confusing for newcomers.
