I'm still undecided on this one yet, mainly because of the room it takes up in the tank compared to an outlet tube on a cannister filter, but I do like the look and idea of them though!

I dont use any canister filters as of yet. I have an older one someone gave me that I was going to try for my Mbuna tank.

thank you! this filter is a good one so far. Not sure about the subs, they go up and every once in awhile, they go down. I think KZbin purges some accounts that are stagnant once in a while but that is just a guess

Great video... Can you please make a update video of the Ziss filter in your turtle tank... With how long you had it in your turtle tank in what kind of air pump you were using... I just bought a Ziss filter for my RES's 55 Gallon.. Would love to see more Turtle videos

great idea! Yes I can do an update. I have had this filter in my Diamondback Terrapin tank for a little over a month. I will do an update before I bring my turtles outside into their ponds. Awesome... Yes we have a Red-Eared Slider ( RES ) he's in a 55 Gallon tank.. for filtration I run a Fluval 110 & 350 Powerhead Canister and just got the Ziss Filter..

@@QueAquatics i guess iam wating to see if it helps,its a little noise ,but no more that a air stone in there,my eheim was not doing its job,fish where starting to gasp for air ,or swimming to the top for some.thougt this might do both.

I have a 3000 gallon bio filter waterfall but I also have several smaller 12" x 8" sponge boxes that are filled with biorings and a pump that act like little filters too

Is this good enough to be a main filter or just help along side REAL filtration? Also does it say what size tank it's good for filtering?

I didnt see a whole lot of info anywhere. In Cory's video he says they need to in at lease 12 " or more. I am testing the parameters to see if it is effective in this 55 gallon and I put it in a 40 gallon breeder with a turtle.
