It's not for the achievments (not only) but the HRE and Germany now have a mission tree and it's completely broken on both ways. It's the same except a subtree. For both there is a mission that is borderline impossible or at least too costfull to have any interest. You need 500 dev in 11 provinces before enlightment so ar. 46 dev per province... You can complete it later but the reward has less interest. The other missions are really broken with a 85% flat chance of inheriting PUs, being able to integrate PUs and vassals for free permanently (with austria, was possible before but only with a pulse event and a mission, now it's permanent and you don't need the pulse event or missions), +110% gov cap etc.

Oh very. By far the best thing is they can switch to the strongest tech group (American) in the game. Plus by the time you switch american units are usually the best.
