Anytime someone's et is higher than it should be people automatically start saying the driver sucks. With higher power and street tires you ain't gonna put the power down. Bad 60 foot equals bad et. Look at trap speed that tells the power story. Da can greatly effect times as well. Launch and the da you're running in are the two biggest factors that swing et wildly one way or the other.

Do you understand how quarter mile works? Clearly not. Your launch aka 60 foot time GREATLY effects your et. A bad launch will give you a bad et and on top of that the da was probably shit too which absolutely effects things. The likely hood of a modern car losing significant power because of high mileage alone if it is mechanically sound is pretty much 0. The launch and the da has WAY more effect in times than that would. Also trap speed tells the story of power. Stop focusing on et like everyone does that is more about launch your trap speed tells you about horsepower.

​@@Youngster543210 2018-2021 GT with a perfect DA will run an 11.8 @ 119 on stock tires. The 2014-2019 Z06 will barely break into the 10s hitting a 10.95 @ 127 according to Chevy. The 2011-2014 Roush Stage 3 comes with a very conservative tune that's slow and prioritizes mpg and longevity of the vehicle rather and despite the impressive 650 horsepower figure, the car is ultimately dull for a forced induction car. There's no official numbers but the general consensus is that the Roush can run an 11.68 with what I'm assuming was a good DA, but on stock tires it's not gonna grip. If you compare both of these to an NA 2011-2014 Mustang with a set of tires, E85, Cobra Jet intake manifold, JLT CAI, and BBK Rear suspension it'll run a 10.90 @ 127 which is essentially neck and neck to the Supercharged Vette and the Stang is completely naturally aspirated with just a few basic bolt-ons. So considering the 2019 GT makes more power than the S197 5.0s I'd venture to say you don't know what you're talking about when you say "Your 19 GT is a boat anchor in comparison."

Meanwhile, many stock 14-19 Z06 have went mid 10's at 130+ mph lol, the cars aren't even remotely close. And why would they be? this isnt fucking rocket science dude. The Z06 is significantly lighter, has 150 more HP at the tire and 200 more torque. Doesnt take a fucking brain surgeon to understand why it would be a lot faster, a basic understanding of physics would suffice. Don't get me wrong I love Ford and the coyote it's impressive what even a gen 1 can do but let's not exaggerate here. Yes fbo cj e85 cars can go 10s the majority of them don't that takes a max effort setup with slicks and a nice suspension plus driver mod. People focus too much on et. Et is widely effected by launch and weather it was good or not. 60 foot time greatly effects et good or bad. While trap speed tells the story of power. Higher hp cars that are traction limited will run slow et for their power level but trap speed tells the story of power. As for the roush stage 3 the gen 1 cars only had 540 hp stock but they run low boost and have a very conservative tune. Fbo and pulley and tune can get you well up over 600 horses to the wheels on 93 octane. More on e85.
