Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

I was waiting for Anton to finally walk on stage at the Oscars to accept his own. He was truly a great underrated talent. A real loss to an industry whose members don't appreciate its history as much he did.

I never every cry or emotionally effected by celebrity deaths, even from my favourite actors. But for some reason when I watched the 2009 Star Trek for the first time, I immediately couldn't help but feel a connection with Pavel, maybe its his innocence or relatability. When I found out that he died, I really did feel upset and today, watching Beyond it was bittersweet everytime Pavel came up on screen......

I am glad to see the secondary characters getting more screen time. The old Uhura never really did anything. (Sulu/Chekov/Scotty really did not do much either). I grew up on the old series, and I love the new Star Trek movies, and I usually do not like reboots.

You guys are being absurd cynics. She had just gotten done saying he was devoted to the art of film so in respect for that devotion, he wouldn't have wanted them to NOT promote it as some kind of memorial/respect, in fact, this would have disrespected his love of film. I think this is what she meant and she just kinda left a void for interpretations of cynical corporate greed or self-promotion. If I loved film, were to die, I wouldn't want a "moment of silence" rather a further promotion of film, with the word promotion being used here as a general promotion of art.

Yeah, she just phrased it oddly. I mean regardless if he passed or not. The film would have still been promoted.

JUDGMENT DAY Someday it won’t matter how rich you were, the car you drove, the house you live in, or how popular you were. On that day, only a relationship with JESUS CHRIST WILL MATTER! Isaiah 10:1-4 1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; 2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to make away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the habitation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? And where will ye leave your glory? 4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 13:9-11 9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

+Madder Max "Im really just here to promote the film because of him, he would want me to." Yes, of course hed want her to promote the film, but please, they shouldnt insult us and make it seem like hes the only reason the film is being promoted. Of course of the fans want to support him and the film, thats great. But for anyone monetarily connected to the film to use some ones tragety, like thats the only reason you are out promoting a film, is ridiculous and false. They would be out promoting this film regardless.
