Our favourite travel Vloggers to watch atm.. Love your content guys. Simon's witty waffle masterclass always puts a smile on my face 🖤 We're actually going to Mauritius in 2 days because of your series. Thank you both ☺

Spätzle comes from the italian spaciare, or splitting. The original technique of making them is to have the dough on a wooden plate over the hot water and split some long noodles into the water. In german it is called schaben, or scrapping. The method shown in the video will give you not Spätzle, but "Knöpfle" or little buttons. This variety comes from the Allgäu region of swabia.

German chocolate, is it quite the delicacy or just hype? Have you visited Alaska? Nice editing 🤙🏽
@ZoeandSimon Жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 We love all kinds of chocolate, but yes German chocolate is great! It depends on the kind of chocolate you like of course. You can also find very good chocolate all over Europe - we're also big fans of Swiss chocolate. We haven't been to Alaska, but we'd love to visit some time! 🙂

Yay, back in Germany! Slash German content. I’m probably the only happy about this though😂.
I'm really confused, is tapas a German dish as well, or was this a Spanish restaurant in Germany? (I don't get out much!)
@ZoeandSimon Жыл бұрын
This restaurant just took the concept of tapas, so basically having smaller portions to share with some drinks - and applied it to German cuisine. So the dishes are German, but the concept is Spanish 😁

Seems like chefs do not have to do much of a work to prepare these dishes. Bread you get from the store, just the boiled potato, raw avocado paste, raw salad. They all are either prepared by Nature or bakers.

Thnx for covering local foods❤ Hmm, why are streets dirty? There is so many jobeless immigrants on social support, so part of the support clause should be volu teer work for the society, including cleaning the streets for example.

Funny that the first German food most tourists eat is schnitzel from Austria…
@NedersasseАй бұрын
The schnitzel originally comes from Italy, (Involtini) migrated to Vienna and was Germanized there. The Austrians are actually Germans too, albeit with their own state. This comes from the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. The first division of Germany was the Reformation, the division into Catholic and Protestant regions after the Thirty Years' War. 1618-1648. 1618-1648.

American hot dog Sausage. British French Germans have the same DNA and look the same and eat the same and act the same. English is German, not British. The reason why my German friends call the British Inselaffe literally means “island monkey”. If you want to see Beautiful European countries and Beautiful food then look up Greece and the Middle East. Berlin is a Slavic Name. Fish and Chips are Jewish and Greek, not British. British and French Germans have the same DNA with a little Slavic Culture. Santa Claus is Christian and Greek, not British German.👍
