It was beautiful what she said about how you should be who you are without it being a political statement.

Haha I was just thinking that! Like natural91LC said, her style isn’t really “old Hollywood.” I LOVE her style-it’s modern, relevant, and cute, but at the same time it (almost) always has that “classic” element, which I just love!

She would make an excellent politician and then an excellent philanthropist. Really love the “I don’t know anything” attitude, esp being her age, with her parents, in her position, and in her industry; when in reality she is more verse in a lot more topics than she advertises herself to be. Its almost she’s saving her words and thoughts for the right moment.

I think she'd make a great Barbara Gordon. It doesn't matter what universe. She is batgirl/Oracle. It doesn't matter if she's paralyzed by the joker or a young crime fighter that does what she can. There've been plenty batgirls out there, but she is Barbara Gordon. Hands down

Why can politicians tell us how to do this or that? I agree, but then the argument becomes why can you? To that, I suppose the response is that I’m not telling you how to live, rather advocating for not being told how to live? Sometimes, often lately, it seems that nothing actually gets accomplished due to circular arguments.

She is talking about women's reproductive rights specifically here. If you are against abortions, don't do it, but don't tell others not do it or punish them for doing what they want to do with their lives
@jedijones3 жыл бұрын
@@hks_uz That's not the point. An abortion is not about one person. It's about a second human being that already exists. You can make all the reproductive choices you want with respect to yourself but once the other human being has been created the society at large has a responsibility to protect them. And they are not created at birth.
@hks_uz3 жыл бұрын
@@jedijones oh, just shut up! Women should have equal rights as men, and this includes the right to decide what to do with her body. If you are so much concerned about unborn babies, then make all men go through vasectomy and the problem will be solved! No spermatozoids, no babies! Why men assume that only they can decide for women? Let's have it the other way around, and see how men will react when they get the same treatment women have to go through thanks to men! Try that on your own skin!
@jedijones3 жыл бұрын
@@hks_uz LOL, why would I want to stop all people from having babies? This is not a man/woman thing. In many cases men put women under pressure to abort the baby so they can avoid their responsibility. Bottom line, it's not enough to say you do or do not support abortion. Everyone has to tell us at what point abortion should be legal or illegal before we can figure out what we agree or disagree on. There is entire cycle from conception to being born and the umbilical cord being cut. We need to know what exactly people mean when they say they support abortion.
@hks_uz3 жыл бұрын
@@jedijones It is precisely man/woman thing - if a woman has no right over her own body, same as a man does. Vasectomy is a much less harmful procedure than abortion, why not choose the more merciful way to deal with unwanted babies? If the state gets to tell a woman whether she should or should not carry on with the pregnancy, regardless of her decision, then the state should also carry the burden of a child - let's pay all women to have children. In many cases, abortion is the answer when future parents simply cannot have this child, whether it is due to medical reasons or economic or psychological. I truly believe that children should be brought into this world only and only if they are wanted and will be loved. In all other cases, it is cruel to a child itself to give a life full of hardships and constant suffering.
