"Limit your catch, not catch your limit" is probably one of the best fisherman's codes to live by. No reason to catch 10, when 1 or 2 will fill you up nicely. One of the many reasons I love your content Marty.

@@Hartwig870 this may be true, but honestly, that just decreases the time you spend on the water, if you're talking about fishing as not only enjoyment but also as a food source. If you already have a freezer full of fish, you have less reasons to get out there.
@Lagniappe.2 жыл бұрын
@@ianhood8081 100% agree, the ones who should really limit are these guides.... it's one thing if you are I go out once a month and maybe limit. But some of these guides take out multiple people a week sometimes limiting out for everyone on board the boat if they are good.

I really like this side of you Marty, these are the videos that i have enjoyed, just simple fishing and neat diy's on your kayaks. The way your videos were when i first started watiching back at your old house. Lol i use to watch while i was working at cemex and operating a machine that was a set and forget sorta thing. Your videos have always been a way for me to forget about corporate America for 10 min or so and take it easy. I have always wanted to fish with you as well as own a kayak but never had the chance so far for either, something always came up financially and had to use the money for something else other then a kayak. So injust watch your videos and be humble. Thank you marty!

Marty, been watching since some of your earliest videos. I've enjoyed all of your content along the way, including your most recent chapter of triumphs and challenges on the great loop. But these most recent videos just hit the spot, they feel like your signature style that got me watching in the first place, and it is so nice to be on the water relaxing with you like this again. But I will watch any video you make if you are fulfilled making them. Thank you for sharing your lifestyle and videos!

At least not as happy as you seem just fishing. It is so great to see you doing what I fell in love with this channel for. Kayak fishing in the inner costal. Merry Christmas Marty!!

You're right about limits. I see people catching way too many fish and then become lazy when it comes to cleaning them. I limit myself to 1 bass about 5lbs eat one filet and freeze the rest for another day. I didn't know there are catfish in saltwater.
@BipolarBLKSheep2 жыл бұрын
My fear of going through mangrove tunnels is that gators love to hide back up in there and they arent wide enough to let a gator out that may feel trapped, without him going through you. That, and snakes...

In order to save the fish, they should stop pushing and pushing people to go fishing all the time they don't think like a real fisherman they just take, take, take!
