Can relate everything that you said. Proud owner of the Gen 1 S1000RR! 😍 Also I moved to this from a 2011 R1 crossplane. Everything you said is absolutely true. S1000rr is wife material and forgiving. The R1 is jungly and has it's own character and is lesser forgiving.

DDC is actually amazing for Indian roads, try it out by deliberately going through a small pothole. I did it by accident but was mesmerized by how it reacted so quickly and turned itself into a Volvo bus for a quick second and back to a stiff track machine as soon as it sensed the road became even.
