You spoke too soon at 3:52. LOL. Glad you left in, as we all experience surprises when we think things going well. Wonder if lack of elevator authority mentioned later contributed to the ability to hold pitch attitude in that turn? Thoughts on how the Talon 250g compares to the Nano Talon? Perhaps too soon to ask, as you haven't flown FPV yet.

Hmm. Flies like a Club-20 'brick'! I know it's what a lot of people want, but I can't stand angry little models like this. A thicker, flat-bottomed aerofoil and a touch of dihedral would be my chosen modifications. Or... you could cram in 4 lbs of ballast, chuck it off the slope in a Force 9 gale, and give the seagulls a scare. 😲

Twitchy blighter isn’t it! Side question with your Phoenix S glider, have you tried it with the Ranger / Phoenix v2 two metre wing at all?

I haven't tried the 2m wing. Would need to create a new hole in the fuselage for the front spar.

@@AndrewNewton yeah she needs the additional spar hole...I've ordered a 2m wing for my Phoenix S to see how it goes, I expect the lightweight Phoenix S should have a lighter wing loading than the Phoenix v2.

Vertical stab may not be effective enough for the big wing

@@AndrewNewton dunno, the vertical stab on my 2m balsa glider is smaller than the Phoenix S and works just fine. Will find out very soon anyway. I reckon it will be sweet.
