I just bought iPhone SE 3 for my grandma she has the the iPhone SE 1st generation and she loves the home button and knowing this might be the last iPhone with home button i just bought it. For my grandma is a plenty good and I upgraded her storage from 32gb to 128gb and I think she used like 20gb that's Bcs she is getting pictures of her grandkids. And yes it might be a Touch ID in power button but for her it's a phone that will last another 8 years with her usage

I got SE yesterday… this is what I found helpful next to iPhone 12 One hand typing is back Need not to lift phone to your face to unlock Battery is as good as iPhone 12 No lag All the new OS futures. Only down side is, I miss gestures from iPhone 12 Funny part is, I bought iPhone 8 then expensive screen protector and back cover for dirt cheap (cause it’s 5 years old accessories). If you want to save on accessories, all for iPhone 8, not iPhone se 2022.

Just got mine and set it up. I’m using 17 of its 64GB. Needless to say, I am not a power user. Transferring data from my 5-year-old SE1 was easy, because Apple wants you to love their products. Connecting to Verizon was not, because Verizon hates you and thinks you are dirt. The 13mini is undoubtedly a better phone, but it’s not $270 better. Buyers should be aware that the phone does not come with a SIM card, so you have to visit your cellular provider and buy one. You can’t just transfer the card from your old phone, because it’s not 5G enabled.

What color have u chosen? If its midnight, done't it make side bezels look bigger? Coz i feel like in red and white u can see edge between display and body, while on midnight it looks like side bezzel much wider.

This is a really great video, Aaron! Honestly, I got disappointed when Apple announced this in the Apple event, but thinking about the phone more made me think that it's actally not a bad phone at all. And the fact that the iPhone SE is at a really good price range for people (including me) who are upgrading from an older iPhone with a home button. Now, yes there won't be really good camera features or all-day battery life, but I bet that replacing the battery on this phone will be the same as replacing the battery of the older home-button iPhones, which is is a big bonus for me in my opinion. And, if I were to upgrade to this phone, I'd pick the midnight color since Starlight is kind of a cream version of white, and Product Red, weill let's just say I just think it's a bad color because of the bad stuff. But anyways, thank you for this video, and it's a good thing you've never mentioned an iPhone that's higher end than this iPhone and comparing it to higher end iPhones.

They produced iPhone 8 together with iPhone X and they stopped the sale of the iPhone 8 (not 8 plus) very early during that time. They took back those and that’s why they are still using the already produced iPhone 8 bodies for both SEs.

The main thing that draws me to this phone is Touch ID. As well as the form factor. Just based on the pictures and videos I’ve seen of this new phone, it looks like the midnight version has a bit of a blue tint to it, whereas the starlight has a bit of pink or yellow to it. Is that so? I intend to upgrade to the new 3rd Gen se from my current iPhone 8.

This iPhone SE is only 1.2 x faster than the older SE model which is a little of a let down and the battery isn’t that much longer last than the older SE either.

I got the iPhone 13 pro back in October, but honestly Id much rather have this iPhone se 3rd gen plus the extra cash. Ive always had issues with Face ID and so I really miss Touch ID!

This phone's display would be bit bigger than the 12mini/13mini if Apple would just put touchID on the sidebutton like the ipadAir5 topbutton. I miss the perfect handy size of the iphoneX, just about the size of the SE2/3, but only disliked the aesthetics of dual rear cameras. I really hope they continue the SE series with single rear cams but make it night mode capable since even the most basic of android phones can do night shots now, either revive the iphoneX with a single rear cam and a lighter battery pack because it felt quite hefty for its size, or revive the XR maybe with touchID sidebutton or dynamic island. The XR is larger so I can't expect them to shrink the battery on that one.

Sorry these instructions appear to be out of date. We’re trying to set up a brand new SE with no existing iCloud account and we can’t get past “Quick Start”. There is never a “Set Up Manually” option. We get a screen that forces us to log into a nonexistent iCloud account and we can’t complete the activation.

Yes and no. It does not adhere to the back of the phone, rather it will charge but it doesn’t have the magnet ring for MagSafe

to start, your my go to guy as well as the handful of cdn reviewers for apple information beyond the gerber fed review for the last year from the reviewer’s I am disappointed in the size at 4.7 why not just make it a flip phone. the 5.5 size would have been the better choice , the internals are great. think I’ll take a pass on the se 3. I have an I pad so do not need a large phone screen. so looks like I’ll style on the 11 for few years til mini-led works it’s way to the iphones the se 3 has the all the bells and whistles one needs but the bike frame has a few dents and is a bit rusty

You keep your old boxes? So do I. If you plan to keep the phone for any length of time, 64 GB won't be enough. iOS alone, takes more space with each update.

Yes I keep the boxes. Updates don't generally take up more space. They typically install and then when they are done they self-delete and free up space. It can take a few days though.

@@zollotech Thank you for the reply, Aaron. When I got my iPhone 8 Plus, iOS took about 4.4 GB. The system data was always around 5 GB. With 15.4, iOS is 7.87 GB and system data is usually 9 to 12 GB. Ed
