I had an LG before and liked it, but there were things on it that eventually became annoying. Does it have a manual option on the camera when taking pictures and videos? My LG G2 didn't when taking videos. Does it have a knock-knock unlock feature too? It's where you just tap on the screen twice to turn it on and off. And is the glass on the back slippery?

Bought it yesterday at US Cellular...great deal. Have been watching KZbin vids, checking social media, etc. for a while and still holding in the 74% battery range over 8 hours. Love it. Using Nova Prime as my launcher.

I feel like any company that releases a new phone should be their best yet. G6 still hasn't sold me yet. I do love the design of it though. But I keep watching reviews everyday to convince myself.

Got this second hand in Korean version with 64gb and Hi Fi dac. Damn i'm loving it! Lg V10 owner but I wanna upgrade. I still have the G2 that works perfectly. I had the G4/G5 and V20 for few days aswell but there's something with the G6 that I really love. The Design and it's ergonomic. I totally agree with the title of thid video. Hands down!

I'm using a lg g6+ to comment now in 2024. I think this may be the best phone ever made. The ergonomics are so perfect and the size is unmatched as far as not too big and not too small. Also I just got a Google pixel 7 and I think the displays are very comparable. Amazing little phone. If there was some way to upgrade the processor in it I would use it as my daily driver even now. Best phone ever made.

+Ron Ardron yes and no. As long as you don't mind not getting updates like the nexus does then it's a great choice.

I bought this yesterday to replace my beloved Nexus 6. Moved all my apps, set up my Nova Launcher Prime, wallpapers, etc., set up all the choices. Loving it today, size good (I do miss the bigger screen some though while watching KZbin today), but very smooth, no lag. Good trade off.

You said screen on time is roughly 3~4 hrs? With how much % left? That's kibbles n bits compared to the iPhone 7 Plus usage time.

hi, you mentioned that you have to click the home/power button to unlock the phone. no option to just lay your finger to unlock, just like with the pixel and the rest? pressing it might not be too ergonomic

Its an awesome device. I havent even seen one yet but its easy to tell. The single speaker is a letdown and its kind of hard to trust LG when bootloop issues have been plaguing all of their flagships since the G3.

nice video i got one, the g6 from s7edge and, i like most all of it.. i would not of gotten the s8 due to edge screen, hated the edge screen..false touches.. so when LG made this and announced..yeah it looked good.. here is the deal.. Verizon and most other carriers turn in phone, $200 bonus google home assistant..free and if you sign up to verizon new customer, get a LG tv, what? did i see that.. so for $475 i got a phone (btw, i was an original unlimited data plan from years back verizon..I thought that was so worth keeping, till they raised it $20 few months back, I had nfl for $5, and if I tethered it would cost...new plan is unlimited, free nfl and I can tether to like 5 devices, but while tether if I go over so much I will be throttled. but here is the catch, its cheaper then the original plan i so kept due to unlimited..the new verizon plan is cheaper..nfl free, and how I have better plan, and phone installment payment plan..and cheaper..) win win $475, for this phone, I win..

First phone stopped vibrating within 2 months. Replacement phone lasted 2 days and the camera glass broke in my pocket with a case and raised lip protecting the camera. Worst phone I've owned and I owned the LG g2 which is still working just fine.

The phone can't have wireless charging and DAC audio.. its either one or the other.

+Xavier A they have nothing to do with each other. A DAC is the audio chip and the wireless charging is a coil in the back that connects to the power input. It has both.

Jarrod Carlton finger print scanner is useless, LG's processor is not even a year old calm down, dual camera and a flat screen. s8 is a gimmick, the no flat screen is stupid in my opinion, I won't buy them anymore for that reason and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I had the S4, Note 4 and the S7. I'm​ not a Samsung hater but you gotta give me a break with comments like *it's a no brainier to buy s8* cuz it has a new processor, I find that laughable.

Jarrod Carlton the 720 figure is ATT and verizon's price. Lg isnt the dumb one. The carriers are. You can get it for a lot less on tmobile. And on sprint you can start getting this for like 500 dollars with a free TV.
