No AMOLED though, night and day difference. They needed to include it. More $$$ for them not including it though. I liked LG G Flex 2 with the 1080P Oled curved phone design. It was great, but processor destroyed battery life and had heat issues.

Patrick although this phone will put out some great natural colors. Phones like Samsung are too over saturated. It's like when you get you're TV professionally calibrated. At first it may seem darker and not as colorful but it is displaying a picture more meant for the human eye.

Patrick Yeah the LG G flex2 curved oled display is still stunning to this day and yeah the overheating issue was a huge problem but every other SD810 flagship had the same issue. And i used for a few month the S6 edge + i prefer LG G flex 2 way more.

That's one beautiful phone, I gotta say. Like you said nothing very revolutionary but it doesn't need any of that. It just simply does everything correctly - Decent battery, good water resistance, amazing screen, etc.. Even tho this is only of what we know about it so far, it looks like it will be a good phone once it officially hits the market.

Rudy C I do too but their whole thing is that they know how the chip functions, and how to get the most out of it, only noticeable upgrade would be in terms of battery life, and in high intensity games. And if we think back to the 810, great on paper doesn't always mean great performance wise. So as long as this phone is priced right I have high hopes for it

The TechieGames while I can agree that LG will be able to better optimize software for the 821, that comment about them "knowing the chip" and them being able to get "what they want" out of it is silly, manufacturers know exactly what any said chip they are putting in there phone can do, before they spend billions on putting the in their phones... However android is "lacking" in software development, and can do much better.

good review. on that wireless charging note...the LG G3 was one of the first phones to offer wireless charging out of the box. unfortunate they didnt include for G4 and G5 but returned to senses for G6

What is the point of wireless charging??!! I don't get it, you actually have more freedom if you connect it with wire. Best analysis I have read so far postulates that LG is doing the 2 flagship thing, a la Samsung with the S and the Note series - the V series is a bit more experimental and aiming squarely at more demanding users, while the G series takes the best of those V series experiments, polishing them up even further and then making the G phones as user friendly as possible. Agree? I recently lost my G4 and was forced to upgrad to the V20 ahead of time, though I was looking hard at the V20 since it was announced. The V20 ticks nearly every box for me and 1 week in I gotta say I am well impressed. I just am dying for safe, reliable root for the V20 [my model is the H990N Dual Sim, Hong Kong/Int'l variant]. While I have zero plans ATM to plop more cash on the G6 in the foreseeable future, I'd still very much love to hear your thoughts on a head to head between the G6 and the V20. cheers!

I am using my G2 watching this video. G2 is a very good phone interm of build quality and look. the G3, 4, and 5 just so so. But this G6 is a big upgrade. I think I am gonna go with G6, but need to wait quite sometime to see if there's problem with the new model, especially battery explosion. who knows!

Please keep testing the cameras, especially in low light! They have pretty small pixels (1.12 uM) and are kinda old (they were in the OnePlus X and Xiaomi Mi4C which were pretty meh).
