Actually could be pretty simple, simple low poly high def zombie model, rig the camera with first person, use a free or a simple bought city asset. The rest is simply paining the scene. Most of the work would just be recording the scenery. Now the more detailed you want the environment and world is where the complicated aspects comes into play such as zombies running scripts and animations, blood FX, people being chased or eating alive, fire in the environment and such. Simply put could do a quiet lonely pov as a zombie post apocalypse Or could go all out during the height of the aftermath

Outside the bunker, infected people tortured,raped others. We watched it by cameras. One of them approached our bunker,and tried to get in,but failed. And they lost their interst ,went to town. A couple of months passed, all infected people died, we recreate new world. I always imagined just bunker life before sleep.
