Great tune and unfortunately relevant today. I actually learned to play with dynamics from this song. I set up my amp at the edge of breakup and let it rip on the chorus but pull way back for the verse. Just wanted to mention the original recording is about 20 cents sharp (A ≈ 445 Hz). There are some A = 440 Hz versions floating around KZbin. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

Yesterday, as I listened to this song with my gf, I said, "I saw that Justin dropped a lesson on this song, but it's long. The song is just 4 chords of pumping 8s, soooooo boring - how will that make a good lesson? I guess I have something to look at tonight." Justin never fails to impress. Of course, you emphasized the dynamics!! Brilliant. And so wholeheartedly agree with your opening comments - my heart breaks for our war-torn world. You're a class act, Justin, an impressive human being!

@James Declerk I didn't make any comment about any of the leaders you mentioned. I happen to agree with your sentiments on Iraq, all war is wrong. All I did was congratulate Justin on his freedom of speech which is something everyone is entitled to. Perhaps you are not familiar with freedom of speech? Give my love to Vlad x
@ianday382 жыл бұрын
@James Declerk Mate, it's a guitar lesson channel, I think you'd be better off shouting at people on some other media outlet. I also think you need to have a think about who's the parrot, it works both ways you know. Say hi to Vlad x
@ianday382 жыл бұрын
@James Declerk perhaps you need to have a grown up discussion with Justin then? I'm just a crap guitar player who happens to like what was said. What I said earlier about freedom of speech still stands. You calling me stupid because I have a different view to you says more about you than it does about you. How come your account is entirely blank and was only created a month ago? Tell Vlad that I still have the negatives and Mrs Medvedev doesn't know anything about it 😉
@ianday382 жыл бұрын
@James Declerk Are you still here? Haven't you got anyone else to make assumptions about? You don't even know what democracy I'm in. Tell Vlad that Big Boncho is busy on Friday night and he says he's not doing 'that' again x 🌈
