As an old school GI Joe fan, comics, toys, cartoon 82-87, I was excited to see the series continue but a little reluctant to know they are co existing with Transformers. Loved Transformers as a kid also, I was part of the first demographic for both properties, but Ive always liked them separate. The joes fighting transformers always took away from the pseudo realism of the first 5 years of Gi Joe (87 is when it really started to go more weird and sci-fi

This series is a separate universe from the Energon Universe (With Transformers). I don't believe thier will be Transformers here in The Real American Hero Series (No Transformers) just a Zombie Series vs the Joes at least at the beginning. The Energon Universe is Duke, Cobra Commander and the New Transformers Series from Skybound. For me both series are really good compared to the recent years. I appreciate the view and the comment. I am also a old school GI Joe Fan. Peace.

The issue came out the end of November 2023. This was the first issue of Real American Hero moving over to Skybound and the success of the start of the Energon Universe a few months back. (Even though this series has nothing to do with Energon Universe) It was also the start of the Zombie Era. I appreciate the view and the comment.

Love the art, hate the direction of the story

I agree the art work is fantastic. It is a Kirkman project so zombies and people will die. Walking Dead meets GI Joe. I guess it will be cool seeing Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes Cutting down zombies but time will tell if this story will be good. I appreciate the comment and the view. Peace.
