I remember seeing this arcade at one of my local video stores when i was a kid! It looked so gnarly and was in the right place too! I love how 90s arcade horror games never held back on combining 80s monster, slasher horror films into a great shooter

I remember playing this game at circus circus back in vegas in 1998. I didnt even make it past the first level with 5 bucks of quarters and after watching this whole playthrough. This game seemed like it could literally sink somebodies paycheck back then in the arcades.

I THINK I may have played this once, but it was an arcade cabinet that had broken light guns. The owner had not repaired them nor had he taken the machine out of service so it was just a quarter stealing decoration. Needless to say I did not have the best experience with it, which is too bad because this does look decent.

I actually came across the arcade cabinet of this game years ago in a local shopping center (The cab is long since gone, sadly) and the intro always got me super curious about what happened as you played through the game. Was never even able to beat the 1st level, haha. Thanks for the upload, it was nice to see all the stuff I missed.

There's a headstone with the player's "name" on it in the graveyard. Edward mentions this reminds him of "the nightmare". He states he hasn't found what he's looking for in the good ending. There's a very real chance that he has history with the big bad here, an associated bigger scope villain, or at least some of their previous terror and, while his life as a struggling detective has likely allowed him to fly under the radar, they have taken notice of the guy and hired him to lure him to the town and tie up loose ends.
