It's called energizer. When you see your students are getting bored or sitting for a long time ; do the energizer then they'll be ready for the lesson. It can be done between stages of the lesson.

it is an energizer or brain break activity, the aim of these activities which take no more than 10 minutes it is to make students feel relaxed and at ease
