The literal definition of "girding your loins" is a method of tying an ankle long robe or skit up around your waist, sort of like a loincloth, so that you can perform work or run more easily. The expression can therefore be understood as an ancient way of saying "roll up your sleeves." (Etymologically, "girding" means to belt something, "loins" being a way to refer to the pelvic region.)

you can actually tell the difficulty based on the color, easy is green, medium is yellow, hard is orange, etc, also I think you might be missing the second phase 4 run at like 5 or 6 min in

I have attempted talking to my friends' dog the way Cleo maneuvers ravagers. To get it out from under a couch in a room full of stacked furniture and boxes. Results were... "not stellar". Restoration of some modicum of stability to the scenario took just under half an hour, but at least the doggy in question cannot headbutt me through a wall.

Doing most of these runs with hostile mob sounds off and not holding the map was WILD. What's even wilder is that I can't find a single comment pointing it out. Cleo ran on EXTREME ULTRA DIFFICULT mode and no one even mentioned it.

I saw on Tango's stream you said you e got 39 shards. I'd recommend checking with some of the top players (I know Etho especially has topped out his deck and has extra cards) to see if they have cards to trade. You'd benefit from having a stronger deck, they'd have a chance for more runs, and all of us fans who are addicted to this game see more hermits running.

Probably because she hasn't been doing that many runs and they roll over between phases.

Tango gives some shards for inactivity. If they weren't used, then he would have given less/none depending on the activity. Stressmonster is in a similar situation and Tango didn't give her shards this phase iirc

"gird your loins" actually means more to prepare yourself for battle. It comes from a time when fighters wore tunics and lioncloths, which they needed to wrap/tie up (gird) around their waist and groin area before training and battle. 😊

It does depend on how much you watch. I kinda gave up on watching most of the Hermits DO runs because there are only a few who are going above and beyond the rest, and one or two are also very funny while running (JoeHills and IskallMAN).
