For all those about to bitch about how Chara isn't a villain, and you're right, there is a point in the game where she becomes the villain. It resets at the end, so her killing you is... kinda how she redeems herself because you are forced to reset. She becomes the villain because you taught her that Flowey was right. In every other run she's a hero, but at the end of the genocide run, you make her the villain. That's just the role you assigned her. And she only remembers one thing. "Stay determined".

AngelAnimeGod Hang on a minute. Chara wanted to use their and Asriel's godly powers to kill all humans. Asriel betrayed them, which in turn gives them motivation to kill all Monsters aswell. Now that Chara is resurrected in Frisk's body after you awaken their spirit through a Genocide run, they have the opportunity to get their revenge. Which includes you.

Slenderminion No, Chara wanted to use those powers to kill SIX humans to break the barrier. Frisk was the only one with genocidal motivation. Chara's work was in the pacifist and neutral runs, helping Frisk. In genocide, it's Flowey helping Frisk.

AngelAnimeGod Exept that in the True Pacifist Ending the player character tells Asriel their name. Frisk. As Asriel explained, Chara wanted to use violence against *all* humans. Not just six. Chara can introduce themselves at the end of Genocide as any name that's not a main character. That includes the name "Frisk". (Right now because you can't actually do a full run in Hard Mode, but still)
