Whether the pixel is good or not, samsung need a shakeup with their foldables. Starting to get tired of their narrow outer displays built for midget hands. Even the upgrades on the fold 6 seem miniscule.

It wasn't the hinge. It was rounded where it folds at. The slight rounded curves on both sides created a slight bump on both sides. So it kept it from folding All the way without the push. Now that it's flat where it closes at, it should lay flat

I'm interested in upgrading from the pixel fold 1 to the pixel fold2 but video out , stylus support , and a desktop mode needs to be present at launch and a quick multitasking gesture or I'm going to pass on it because I miss those features that were on my zfold 4 .

One thing that prevent me from buying it is Android OS. No matter how great the hardware on the paper is, when it's running Android with the whole Android ecosystem, it's just not as good as iOS in terms of reliability, smoothness, performance. I had been using Android phones and somehow after a few years it just feels so outdated, can't run many apps, becoming more sluggish and battery are dying fast. However, with iPhone, my previous 3 iPhone from maybe 5-6 years ago still runs great.

Google Software is literally falling apart. I'm on the Pixel Fold. It's slow, and its Speech AI is horrible since they've switch to using Gemini. The hardware specs if true, are indeed amazing. But you can have literally the best hardware in the world for ever, and if the software is clunky, and slow, not expandable or universal, less AI. Yeah it will never be a top dog.

That's a weak argument. 🤣 Most people have demonstrated that they want large screen phones for TWO-HANDED usage. Very few people use a phablet phone one-handed and even less people like the garbage TV remote aspect ratio of the Z Fold series. People love Galaxy S Ultra phones and that's basically what they want a Galaxy foldable to look like when folded shut. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is doing it right. Samsung can learn plenty from Vivo.
