While I’m happy with the few things that I have seen in the trailer, such as the way joy one are attached to the system that makes me feel less like I’m going to break the rails as I slide it into the system or out, I’m with holding my own personal objective thoughts untill I see the direct in April. Irrigardless, I still have decided to start saving up to purchase at launch in addition to my original. I have high hopes of seeing a much better running capability than the original for the ports I have such as Alan wake to run smoother and I can actually play without the annoying nuances that made me shelve the game untill a better running processor was hopefully going to be in the new system

I don’t doubt the switch 2 will be LCD, but the bezels are also clearly big because of the new mechanism on how the joycons connect since they go inside of the console itself. Though, you can tell they tried to make the screen as big as they could and it really doesn’t look that bad in my opinion.

4:08 it is pretty logic that it is on the switch itself, because remember if you use the controls as mouse, zen is the connector would be Constantly pushed and exposed against the table, damaging it and breaking it.

The magnetic connector to connect joycons is on the console to prevent dust and debris going into it if the new joycon can be used as a mouse

I'm not locking in 24 karts per race just yet. While there are 24 slots at the starting line, is not enough evidence for me as we did not see 24 karts on the screen at the same time. In my counting I counted 18 karts on the screen at the same time which mean 18 is 100% confirmed though.

It’s possible that joycon connector on the switch may be hidden and only comes out when you push the joycon into the console. Just a thought it’s possible but doubtful

I think the fact that plastic around the top USB C port is leveled off means that there some kinda accessory that was sit there and needs to sit upright and supported....like a camera.

It's not magnetic, someone else commented that it kind of "rocks" into place then I saw it. there is a lip to lock in on the bottom and the lever behind the z and l+r buttons will in latch the top

Price. They want it as cheap as possible so people can start buying it. OLED version will come later for those that want one - like me and you. But first they need to sell a few million units to secure a foothold to sell their games on. First year will likely be mainly cross-gen titles and a few exclusive to Switch 2 but eventually they'll want to make games for their new console only - this is when they start releasing OLED and different color Switch 2s to cover people that did not like the initial design. A year or two tops and it will happen. I am also waiting for the OLED version, not buying an LCD anything in 2025+.

@ A bit too small unfortunately. I use the PS5 controller with my Switch since it’s easier to hold if you have bigger hands. It’s also more precise and the response time is a little bit better but the battery life is much worse than the Nintendo ditto.

As for the joycons and that jack, it was the first thing I noticed and did not like it at all on the new Switch 2 but....well, Play it docked with a Pro Controller for the joycons sucked anyways. Solved. Won't break if it is sitting in the dock only being used on a physical tv screen. Honestly the old Switch design where we slide our joycons into the system was fine as is...

That screen bezel is disgusting. It's 2025 get rid of that, it looks horrible. Don't care if it's because of the joycons, but even the top and bottom have a thick bezel let alone the sides. Engineer a better product and get rid of it. It's so ugly and off putting.
