He’s really got the gift, this song blew me away first time I heard it, it’s one of those special songs that I listen to sparingly because I don’t want to ever ruin the sanctity of it. I think it will go down in history as one of the all time greats and it gives me so much hope that someone is still making music so significant and authentic. ‘Dum Surfer’ is another one of his genius compositions.

He’s so fucking young bruh I just realized I grew up with this guy. First heard this when I was 13/14 years old. Never will forget when I first heard this. Honestly very life changing (music wise) he is the sole reason for me understanding/appreciating rock music and the different alterations of rock. Truly an amazing artist, never ending goose bumps when I hear him.

One of the best pieces of art ive ever seen. I first heard heard this in 2013 and I was drawn to it because of how different and cool it was. Now I listen to it with maturity and insight as I am now 27. It is beyond me how anyone could ever create something as emotionally intelligent as this at the age of 17. This doesn't sound like Mac demarco at all. It's Krule and that's it. You know Mac demarco isn't the only other independent artist out there.

Matt Villiott its Archie actually, krule is gone. No, it doesn't sound like Mac, but there is some resemblance between the style of music they both produce. They way they both go about their performances too are quite similar, the freedom and care free attitude on stage. Mac is a lot more in your face at a live set than Archie, and Mac has developed a sound which consists of off notes which allows him much more freedom when playing live as its not 'technically' considered music. I love both, don't get me wrong, but they're more alike than you would think

Can't believe this is almost 10 years old. I was hear when it was first uploaded and played this so many times along with the other early tracks, mostly under the King Krule moniker but this one was one I found when I went on a search for more tracks. Why I like King Krule so much is like a mystery to myself. Cannot explain it to friends either. It is a state of mind so deeply rooted. Like we are on the same drug, but I am not on any drug except red wine. His voice and guitar and his accomplices on sax and bass and drum connect with me. I am at least reassured that I am not alone.
