Amazing zoo. So nice how it is designed and so much variety of animals. As soon as the Canada-US border returns to normal, I'll do a little promenade to Knoxville with a detour to Memphis and Mobile.

Love Black Bear fallas one of the best Zoo exhibits I've seen. Really likes the Asia side of the zoo had a great selection of animals and all the exhibits were really good. This was one of my favorite zoo tours you have done.

I really enjoyed the theming of the Asian side as well. The whole zoo was nicely done, the new reptile and amphibian building will make this zoo even better. I'm glad you enjoyed my tour.

I have in Knoxville my whole 24 years of life and when I was young the zoo was a big loop. Where the lions are the path continued where the path to the gorillas are at. They used to have cheetahs, hyenas, and the old lion exhibit was back there as well. It was so cool

Whenever a zoo renovation is taking place they unfortunately remove nice areas to expand new areas. Hopefully the zoo makes changes that benefit both the animals and visitors. Thanks for sharing your memories.

I try to show the habitats now, I try to keep my tours under an hour. It's harder to show a lot of habitats in addition to the animals in larger zoo's. Thanks for your suggestion.

If you're ever in New York State, I highly recommend stopping at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. It has a large variety of animals including Asian elephants, Amur leopards, Humboldt penguins, and Siamang Gibbons. The only problem is that most of the zoo's animals are indoors and only one of the indoor exhibits is open at this time due to COVID, so that may be one to save for whenever things go back to normal.

My mom was scared of the snakes + my papaw my mammow and dad wasn’t scared and I loved to see all the animals and what is the show thing because we didn’t get to see it and I saw my favorite animal RED WOLVES it was adorable there was 3 red wolves and my mammow found her favorite animal ELEPHANT and there was only 1 I think the rest was eating or taking a bath and on the east side we had to climb up the mountain my dad couldn’t help walking a lot so we just saw red pandas and the tiger 🐅 it was super fun and then we went to the gift shop and bought some animals and we went to get dinner then home.

hah ! i thougth at first that the zoo was super small.... and then, you show up the west part of the zoo , i went litteraly like " YAYYYY!! there is more !!" XD Thats a lovely zoo, not too much catnap on the second part XD, and some animals that i dont see alots of times... thoses bat ears fox are cute :D (dont know how comfortable is would be to sleep on gravel tho XD) i m amaze by the monkey, he is soo loud and make such a weird sound for a monkey. you did bad when you tryed to lure the ducks XD... that's why its forbidden in my country to wistle in zoos... because it can be taked as a provocation for some animals, or may disturb them. (also, as you noticed in this video, sometime the keeper wistle to warn animals about food time XD) also... i discover an elephant skull for the first time... lol what the heck is that ? i thougth it was some kind of fantasy Cyclop skull HAHAHA Xd , its soooo weird. (but in same time, we cant see in the video, but i m pretty sure that skull must be giant :O, because elephant have huge head. thank you for this visitof knoxville zoo (i still dont know how to pronunce that city name XD)... It was super cool. I looked at the video while sitting on sofa, eating popcorn with a small fan blowing at me .... during this hot days, it feel like an actual travel around the zoo with a guide :D. super cool.

There is a East side (Asia) and a West side ( Africa) so it was a good size zoo. I felt awful when the egret ran over when I whistled for the ducks.
