Thank you for this video! I work Teton and north west and am the keeper in the sea lion clips, you made my day with this video. You’ve got footage of animals no longer with us and it was good to see them.

Awesome episode! The Teton Trek easily has the greatest bear exhibit I’ve ever seen.

The only thing is I wish it had a little more in it. What about Bison, or even Mountain Lions or other animals? I’m glad they are finally filling up that very long pathway that connects this section of the park to the other. It’s just bare land up until you get to the lodge.
@jameszweep3 жыл бұрын
They do need a herd of bison. Would really enhance the theme of the exhibit and they’re some of my favorite animals.

Always love your tours Zach, and Ieally enjoyed this one. For the past few days I've been having bears and wolves on my mind, and now this makes me even more interested to visit Memphis Someday!

Woah, never realized how nice the Memphis Zoo is! I'm not too far away in Georgia, so I definitely need to visit soon. That bear exhibit is top-tier, very spacious, and it's cool that they rotate between the two different species.

That bear exhibit is absolutely jaw dropping, you said it was massive, but by any chance do you know the actual size? Thanks again for making another great episode Zak!

Yep! It's .60 acres - 26,270 sq ft, and thank you for watching!

I love the Memphis Zoo. The panda exhibit is my favorite of the four I've been to in the USA (including the defunct San Diego exhibit.) The Teton exhibit is really impressive. I only wish that the park area leading up to the zoo was a bit nicer. The parking lot seems really questionable. I'd also love to see them get a bigger reptile house. That said, their Nile Crocodile exhibit is itself phenomenal.

10:40 before you notice the mesh, this shot looks quite precarious… like she literally could throw her child to the wolves!

10:39 what's with the lady dangling her kid over the railing, did we learn nothing from the Pittsburgh wild dog incident?!?! That is easily the best bear habitat I've seen, good on ya Memphis 👏👍🐻
@ZooTours3 жыл бұрын
There's mesh between the fence and the wolves as seen in a close up of one of the wolves. The child is fine.

Also, visit the Sacramento Zoo cause' they hosted animatronic dinosaurs for their "Dinorassic Park" event there! Plus, 2 questions for you.... 1) What animal do you like at the San Diego Zoo & why? 2) Which animal from the San Francisco Zoo escaped & attacked 3 visitors like tasty boars back in 2007? Buffers & Carcharodontosaurus!🐅🐅🐅
