H e l p. I wanted to change my menu theme, but RR overrides it, so i wanted to know how i can override the override.

@@AltairBlue add more z's in front of the filename so it'll end up under the rr one in alphabetical order! Zoo tycoon 2 loads it's mods in alphabetical order.

Tip for a sandbox map. Consider the background noise, view and also the lighting. Mountain biome has nice mountains in the distance and calm background noises. Savannah had good sound too. I hate tundra, desert, jungle and scrub biome background noises. Forest biomes are generally really dark most of the time. Addition: large reef sandbox map looks like your zoo is on a tropical island. Very pretty

Hi Luke. How do you know we’re to place the foliage in your exhibits, do you look after zoo enclosures on the internet, imagination, or something. else. Sorry for the bad spelling.

I do indeed look at real life enclosures, but generally I just put plants in corners everywhere and then in places which I think look boring. To make foliage look natural I always try to avoid straight lines; try not to put two plants which are exactly the same next to eachother, and play with the terrain a little to raise and lower some plants. Hope this helps!

Hey there, recent subscriber here... I love your speedbuilds and also the dutch zoo you're making!! I really loved these tricks... especially the one with stairs... But I kinda have a problem... the thing is the terrain won't rise up beneath the Elevated Path... it kinda rises AROUND it. Could you help me? :( Thanks and Cheers!

It only rises up to a certain point, which is the exact right height for the stairs (if you have the combipatch installed!)

I honestly don't really know what other tips I could give you haha, it mostly just comes down to the layout of your exhibits, which I do by looking at real life exhibits on google, and just seeing what makes them work. If you have any specific things you'd like me to give tips for I would gladly make another video though!

I've been looking through my mod folder for the past 15 minutes and I honestly can't find the grasses hahaha. I think I might have put them together with a random other mod to save space, so sorry about that; I'm 100% sure they are in the modpack itself though. Enjoying enormously the fact that zoo tycoon 2 content is still published and the mod community is stilla ctive despite planet zoo to this day. There is no game more nostalgic to me. Hi all! Looking for someone to answer my question. I was an avid (original) Zoo Tycooner, and I ordered Zoo Tycoon 2 (from Amazon, used) to play during this quarantine. I've made a beautiful zoo in challenge mode, but I'm starting to suspect that something is wrong. My zoo is nearly 5 sim-years old, and I only have access to about 7 animals. My zoo has been rated 5 stars for a long time, and yet more animals aren't available to me. For this reason, I cannot buy a mate for my giraffe and my flamingos died off entirely. I also cannot progress in the photo challenges, as the current one requires that I take a picture of a jaguar, which is not an available animal. Is this normal? Is something wrong with my game? I prefer challenge mode to freeform mode, but I'm frustrated and a little bored at this point... Also, my kangaroos are constantly getting loose despite the fact that I am using an acceptable fencing. Sometimes the game doesn't even recognize that they are loose. I had a moose on the loose once, too! :( Please lmk if you have any advice or help, and thank you in advance!

Heya I know this is super old, but I just got the game recently (digital version) and to me it seems like you get more animals unlocked when you buy them, so like buying a flamingo will replace the flamingo spot with a panda or something like that I think you just need to cycle through to get what you want, which might be part of the challenge mode The fencing I’m not too sure about, I’d say to go in first person and look around and see if there’s any gaps

Have the combipatch mod installed, and then you can just delete it with the bulldozer tool!
