Hello, thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment and opinion. Of course everybody will have a personal favourite between them two and in general. That is about what you like, prefer and are deligthed by, but if you compare every single enclosure and all other facts precisely, I am pretty sure that Pairi Daiza is the better zoo right now, but of course not by far. But both zoos are outstanding as a whole. So I can absolutely understand you picking Beauval as the better zoo of both. What is you favourite zoo generally? Beside the fact that you can't stay at/in ZooParc Beauval, just next to, is the experience to stay in the heart of Paira Daiza and that close to the tigers a experience of a lifetime. Best wishes and regards from the Zoohopper

@ wow what a response Zoohopper and I appreciate it so much🙌🙌❤️I’m pretty sure if I were in your shoes with visiting both the zoos in one trip along with staying in the heart of the zoo next to tigers(wow!)I would choose Pairi Daiza, but…Pairi Daiza has the giant, over the top temples and abondened mineshafts with walruses, penguins and ice bears,it also has rarity’s like Giant pandas, shoebill, bear cuscus and Tasmanian devils, although the positives there are an abundance of overwhelming negatives like the theming almost immediately stops as soon as animals come into play, like I’ve seen multiple exhibits with temples and rice fields but the most boring and flat enclosures I have seen. The white tiger exhibit is minuscule(although with quite good foliage, terrain variation and a large pool)and is completely surrounded by people and tall buildings and walls, also the other tiger exhibit, very beautiful and large but just too many tigers, same could be said for the brown bears, when I watch videos about the zoo I almost think every time, sadly, that the zoo is putting more thought for the guests then the animals themselves!!but again I haven’t been to both zoos but this is my interpretatio.Pairi Daiza is a top ten in Europe and I would love to visit one day…now onto Beauval, this zoo looks unreal and beautiful.the views, the elephant complex,The Dome Equatorial,Hippo Reserve, the cheetah enclosure, the monkey house,Land of the lions and North America.these areas look so good, almost the whole zoo does but there are small pockets that stick out like sore thumbs. The South American walkthrough looks boring and dull, along with some cat enclosures looking poor but I like the fact that Beauval does not have over the top theming with lots of lackluster habitats, this is why I prefer adventure zoos like Hannover and Wildlands more than Pairi Daiza, but as I said both zoos are amazing and I hoped you had a great time at both and experienced amazing experiences. What were your highlights of both??my personal favourite zoo was Tierpark Berlin due to the experiences and Himalaya alone but the best zoo has to be Leipzig. Also I heard new I might be going on a euro-zoo tour using the trains next summer with a couple of family and friends(me and grandad are the only zoo nerds☹️)anyways hope you have a great evening and future zoo visits and trips(would love to see them on instagram😉)

I am really happy that you enjoyed my response and like my content or videos. That is why I am doing it instead of just storing the material on my pc. I try to answer every comment but especially yours was very interesting. So I simply have to answer again ;-) I really see your aspects and your point of view and can understand them almost fully especially when you did not see both parks yet. Your impressions are correct in many ways and you arguing in an impressing, but still constructive way. I really gave marks to every single enclosure or exhibit for both zoos and the result is most importantly that the average animalkeeping in Pairi Daiza is better though enclosures as brown bears, leopards or white tigers (I generally do not support keeping and presenting them at all) and though outstanding single enclosures in Beauval as the hippos, elephants (just outdoor), lions or giant pandas. Additionally the visitor factors as a sum are a little bit better in Pairi Daiza in average as well. In that aspect(s) and moment(s) it has nothing to do with my personal experience during staying over night. The atmosphere of Pairi Daiza catches you and Beauval is impressing but has not got the same conception as a whole as a park of different worlds except China and parts of Africa - but actually they have African spots in three or four different areas of the zoo. In both zoos you cannot avoid to be overwhelmed and to be stressed sometimes, but both are incredible zoos of Europa and of the World. No doubt about it - the rest is always up to your personal preferences. I love smaller zoos or/and zoos offering or placed in a real natural landscape setting much better as the big and overcrowded ones. So the list - as you can see in one of my videos as well - of my favourite zoos does not match the charts or list of the best zoos automatically or to be honest not even much. But of course Leipzig is really on both of them. Berlin Zoo, Hannover or Gelsenkirchen do not catch me in any single aspect, I have to admit. Wildlands in my opinion is zoologically a little bit overrated and you could criticize the same thingas as in Pairi Daiza. But of course there all good zoos. But I do not love them, I would rather pick Rheine, Overloon, Salzburg, Opole, Champrépus, Ebeltoft, Walter Zoo or Doué la Fontaine. And of course Nuremburg will always be in my heart. Where are you from? And what zoos are on your list for your trip? I always enjoyed my time with grandpa or pa as well and treasure it until today and will do so forever. Hopefully my kids feel the same about spending their time with me and hopefully your trip can be realised the way as you all hope or plan for and you can find your zoo windows in between as the trips hopefully is holding some in store for you both. Have a wonderful time and great experiences while travelling and visiting zoos! Let me know about it afterwards! Enjoy zoohopper-tv and you are always welcome to tell me you opinion about the videos and the zoos! I really appreciate it and am glad to have viewers like you! Thank you so much and all the best to you and your family! Beastly nice greetings from Germany, the Zoohopper P.S.: And as you will know, I am on Insta - but these days I did not have much to post there. But I surely will again soon...

@@zoohopper-tv wow another great response Zoohopper, hope you are having a lovely day and thanks for replying once again.I saw a couple things that caught my eye,you don’t support leopards and bears in captivity?why not?I totally agree with the white tigers,I think if your zoo is holding white tigers you should give as much education about how they shouldn’t be here and why it is bad to breed them.I will agree about Berlin zoological garden, like the old elephant enclosure and ape house left a sour taste in my mouth and there were signs of stereotypical behaviour in the jaguars and lions, but the good things are really quite nice, like the hippo-dome,night house with first time species for me like active echidna, kinkajou and quoll which I also saw at Leipzig:)also they have gerenuk which was another highlight;)The same cannot be said for the Tierpark of Berlin In my opinion, this zoo had its own identity from the zoo which I really liked,Himalaya and the savanna areas were really quite nice, and I saw honey badgers, bear couscous and a beautiful tiger exhibit. There were a ton more positives but the negatives were some of the old cages for small mammals and birds and the first part of the park is,although beautiful,a waste and left me and my family wanting more…You asked where I’m from,Kent In the south of England,we have some nice zoos here like the Aspinall parks,Kent wildwood( a really nice wild park), The big cat sanctuary and some notable individuals:) I also am a ZSL zoo member ship holder🙌and I have easy access to London:)although quite a bit tougher to Whipsnade😬On my trip(still unconfirmed but a 90% chance I will be going) I want to visit Pairi Daiza,Leipzig(again:) I would like to visit both Berlin parks agian but that would take up a chunk on my holiday so probably not, maybe Plzen for the species, maybe Łódź for the Orientarium,Prague(where I will plan two days) and I’m completely open for other suggestions;)And of course thanks once again Zoohopper and your messages are great to read:)❤️It would be great for some insta stories I mean of your visits:) like either your highlights, animal moments and great enclosures;) No rush at all Zoohopper and a have a great day

As I said I really try to answer all comments and especially if they are good as yours I really like to answer them ;-) I really love Kent - and next time we come to the UK we want to stay there some more days than this time as we picked Exmoor and Dartmoor and London as our destinations. I want to visit Canterbury, Sissinghurst and Bodiam again. Maybe I will Whipsnade on the list for the first time and Howlett's once more. And I would like to go to Bristol area including the new zoo as I only know or knew the wonderful old one and afterwards maybe to Wales. How old are you? I really think that you have a lot of knowledge and understanding for or about animalkeeping and a creating good enclosures! Wouldn't it be a wonderful job or career for you working at a zoo? I am sorry for the misunderstanding as I actually just meant criticizing the keeping of white tigers - because of them not being an endangered or relevant species or not to be said not being a species at all! Housing animals like elephants, bears and leopards or big cats in general is absolutely fine with me as long the behavioural and environmental enrichment is on a high level. Sometimes I think over having apes or whales/dolphins in captivity - and I am not a big fan of keeping marine mammals except seals, manatees or otters as the most institutions cannot offer conditions like Harderwijk or Nuremburg. Regarding presenting apes in zoos I have the opinion that more and more zoos really achieved much higher standards and conditions and some of them are really outstanding like Pongoland in Leipzig, chimps in Osnabrück or gorillas in Kerkrade for example. By the way I really loved the London Zoo at the Regent Park in so many ways and really enjoyed a lot of the exhibits there, but the gorilla enclosure - especially indoor - was a little bit below average and disappointing relating to its year of construction. But I really loved the lions, tigers, komodo dragons or the most of the theme buildings. I would recommend you concerning the attractivity of city and zoo to prefer Wroclaw (with Afrykarium) first before visiting Łódź and seeing Leipzig or the both Berlin parks again is a kind of must, right!?! I consider Tierpark Berlin as better than the Berin Zoo although a lot of good things has been happening or has been evolved there. But the Zoo covers 35 hectares (I do not know how much acres that is), thrice the size of Antwerp Zoo, but it seems that the animals there have more space in their enclosures. But to be honest it is getting better at Berlin Zoo every year and the Frankfort Zoo has ambitious plans as well. Prague and Vienna and Zurich and maybe Copenhagen are very interesting destinations, too. Barcelona is also improving these years, but visiting the zoos in Paris, Madrid or Biparco di Roma depends on schedule and deep interest. Plzen is a very good choice and worthwhile stopping in difference to the very nice city of Budapest whose zoo is not that delightful though the new Pannon Park. Regarding to your suggestions or ideas over my Insta activities I will try to find some new impulses there. Thank you! So for now I wish you all the best - especially much health and joy of visiting animal parks! Thanks for your responses as well! Hopefully you have a nice and not too busy week, beastly wild regards from Germany to the great United Kingdom, the Zoohopper
