The facial expressions in this are what do it for me. It doesn't look like she's showing emotions, but is more like she's feeling them and I love it.

I know some people will disagree. But I think the colorless background is aesthetically pleasing considering Wowaka’s album covers are almost always black and white. It’s nice seeing the small splash of color only being reserved for Miku. It’s very monochromatic. I love this video.
@BB-eq7hb6 жыл бұрын
Anna Duval I think it also makes the overall aesthetic more crisp and clean looking by limiting the colors to mostly aqua and grey

This song feels like Wowaka and Miku's goodbye song, for some reason. I know he died a while after he released this song, but it still feels like Wowaka... Maybe entrusted his feelings to Miku's voice? Something like that, I don't know how to explain it
@ZeroOhNine4 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what he did. Here's what he had to say in an interview in 2017 when he released this song: "I heard the theme for this compilation is "gratitude," but personally, I made a song themed around love. It's a bit embarrassing to say, but this is the first song I've ever made in my life themed around love. I never gave it a second of thought ten years ago as I posted songs, but no matter how you look at it, Hatsune Miku is the one who got me to start music. Miku is sort of like a mother figure to me." That same year Wowaka posted on Twitter that this was the song where he allowed Miku to finally speak his feelings and words in a song. Obviously I can't speak for him, but I feel like for him this song could've also been a way to accept and heal from his past grievances with the Vocaloid community. Going from Unhappy Refrain (a song that was bitter and angry) to this one is like night and day. I feel like being able to do this brought some form of closure.
@silverfan96113 жыл бұрын
@@ZeroOhNine cool trivia. I never know about that twitter post. Iirc, after Unhappy Refrain was released, he was in a rather bad spot himself, so depressed to the point he only eat delivery food. (I don't remember in which interview, either alongside Deco27 or Hachi). He wrote Kara no Waremono later on which really speaks of his struggle and what bad impact finishing with Unhappy Refrain had on him. For sure, time heal all wound, but I think it's because he recognized how important those era was to him that he could wrote a proper "gratitude" song for Miku. I really wish he left a note or something. I feel like this song is super vague with it's meaning and Im really eager to know the intended meaning behind it. Doesn't seem like Manjuhitorie Tumblr found any notes either. They usually TL the notes for his other songs

This video is absolutely amazing, for the first time in a long time, I felt that every movement made by Miku felt natural, and that it didn't have that choppy feeling of lots of other MMD's. Goddamn Zookin, keep up the amazing work.
I absolutely love how you made Miku dance this song including the details and background. It has such a great choreography. the dress and the colors of the background are really pleasing as well. I like how you went with the flow choosing the color that represents wowaka (may he rest in peace) and the dress is a really great outfit for this song. Also the expressions are so perfect while she's singing. The emotion she shows makes the song even better. For example, in 1:12 - 2:02 made the song more sentimental. But what I loved the most was the choregraphy and expressions. Great job man I hope you get more likes for this video because its so well made.
I'm such a critic when it comes to MMD's, but damn I loved this!!! It's so perfect!! The only thing I would maybe work on or change a bit would be the lightning on the hair, I mean the reflection sometimes is too strong when the light hits the hair, but that's it. OvO

The hair doesn't clip because the animator and the model creator did an amazing job. You can add physics and bones, this creates fake collisions between it and the body. It will make the hair hang over the clothes.

The animation and lighting is obviously incredible, that goes without saying, but I am especially amazed by how cleverly you hid all the instances of clipping, especially of the sleeves whenever Miku had her hands together, either with a blur, camera pan or even a cut of the scene. For fun, I tried to look for those especially, and while watching normally they're completely unnoticeable unless you're looking for them in particular, it was quite tricky! No wonder that I was so amazed just how clean the movement was (and still is!) the first time I watched it. I am very impressed, huge kudos to you!
