how can i make loops with drum rythm? when i try to make loop with drum sound it does not work. drum just stops when i play the loop. also the drum sound changes as soon as i change drive. is there any solution?

Hallo Mario und Kommentatoren, ich interessiere mich für eine besondere Looper-Funktion. Wenn ich auf einem herkömmlichen Pedalboard neue Soundeffekte erstelle, setze ich immer ein physisches Looper-Pedal direkt hinter meine Gitarre, nehme dann eine Lick-Sequenz auf und lasse diese dann automatisch wiederholen, während ich den Sound dieser Lick-Wiedergabe durch Experimentieren mit den Einstellungen aller Pedale hinter dem Looper beliebig variieren und tunen kann, ohne dabei die Gitarre selbst weiter zu spielen müssen. Kann der G5x/G3x diesen Job auch so machen mit dem internen Looper-Effekt? In Ihrem Video haben Sie den Looper am Ende der Effektkette. Könnte mein gewohntes Procedere bei diesem Zoom-Pedal funktionieren, wenn man den Looper-Effekt als ersten hinter die Gitarre und alle übrigen Effekte hinter den Looper setzt. Einige andere KZbin-Videos lassen leider vermuten, daß das nicht geht. Es scheint mir, der Looper schickt sein Ausgangssignal parallel an den nachgeordneten Effekten vorbei. Gibt es doch eine Einstellungsmöglichkeit für die gewünschte Funktion?

You can not change the patch while the looper is running!

Add individual effect like a TS, delay etc and add the looper on the last chain ... There you can switch off and on the individual pedals such and without stopping the looper...

thanks for the video. if I'm looping, and then I want to say use a metal/lead distorted sound for a solo for instance, will the entire loop sequence be distorted then too??

So I see a ton of people all over KZbin saying that you can’t change the patch while using looper… but if you set up the patch with the looper how many separate effects can you have in that patch at your finger tips (or foot tips to be exact). I would at least want to have looper with rhythm plus the ability to have clean and distortion on and off when desired

I have the zoom g5 and i think i have like 6 effects? So you can fit in a looper,rythm,a distortion and idk a spring/hall/reverb for the clean

Hey mate, great sound and great video. Many thanks. I noticed that your guitar has not been intonated. The bridge saddles are all in the same place. I bet if you set up your saddles you'ld have a much easier time tuning the guitar and it would sound even more awesome. Keep up the great work.

The Mooer Ge-200 also has a drum machine.

You can't program the drum patterns nor count out the measures. The 20 yr old Zoom PS02 Palmtop Studio had that ability and that's considered old tech. That unit is tiny and it has the processing power to accomodate drum customization. I just got the G3N and I was disappointed by that lack of flexibility. It's kind of a dealbreaker when they skimped on something that could have easily been accomdated within this architecture. I'm stuck with stagnant drum patterns on this unit.

I already tried..I have new playing Play at 16 or 32 notes is running well..dubbing and play must be try many time to make sure to dubb and play..difficult to say..but try..try..and enjoy with your music and make simple of backing track .

This looper isn't ideal for live situation; nobody has yet pointed out that it's a double tap to end the loop; means it's tap dancing when you use it for nearly every song, just like the Digitech jamman's and tc ditto's. I read the manual and you cannot choose to be able to end the loop with a single tap.

Thanks for your post. Ya, 'double-tap' is a deal-breaker for me. I almost bought this and forgot to even think about that. If you know of a similar Pedalboar w/Looper suited for 'live' setting - please post it here. I have a Digi--tech RP500 which is great except the Loop only goes for 20s.

Just got my G5n for home use only. The looper control is clumsy, especially in socks! There is no external pedal control possible. Also, it is very inconvenient to scroll through the stomp boxes to find the looper.

@@rickhammel9541 Yes I know what you mean. I have the g1four also which has its own dedicated button labeled "looper". This means that the looper is a global function (as it should be) which allows you to switch between patches while creating your loop. If you look at the more advanced models there is no looper button. Instead you have to add a looper "pedal" as an effect within a patch. This means you have to stay within that patch when composing a loop. surprisingly this means that the g1four and g1x four actually function much better for composing loops than the G3 and g5 iterations do. A very surprising (and stupid) design limitation.
