There's more...On all these zoom pedals you can also rewrite what effects/amps you have, delete or swap between any of zoom's fx from any of their units. I have a few of the G1on/B1on line of units, but I've installed all the mad shimverbs etc from the higher end product lines. I don't have the link, but it should be easy to find. Also, apart from program change, I've seen a guy doing CC, changing individual parameters of an individual effect before. Dunno how he reverse mapped it, if I recall he charges money for the map. Point is, these zoom units are FAR more capable than the manufacturer actually claims in the specs and user manuals.

Thanks for the insight mate. I’m aware that guys have mapped the system commands and I’ll search for more. You’re so right in that the pedals are capable of so much more. Keen to know what the MS50G design team are doing now!

Yes. I was demonstrating that it was achievable. There is another video using a $50 wireless foot controller as opposed to the $700 RJM Mastermind!

Is there a way to do a wired instead of wireless? I feel that having additional individual purchases of those small gadgets are a bit tedious instead of directly plugging a cable of some sort into the host plainly.

Hey gigging musicians! Just to save you the trouble, if you happen to buy the Zoom MS-50G+, you won't be able to connect wireless MIDI to operate the M-Vave Chocolate 4-switch external foot controller . When Zoom added the (+) to the MS-50G, they should have added a (-) also. Now...on to other things.

It should probably be pointed out that there is a cut in sound when you change patch, so you can’t turn effects on and off without there being an interruption, am I correct?

Can't see specifically which brand wifi adapter was used and there is no link in description so is it a must to use the M-vave branded MS1 wifi adapter? In either case I'm wondering if anyone has managed to squeeze either the MS1 or a lower profile adapter into the 5V USB port between the occupied output 7 and 24V DC out of a CIOKS DC7 power supply to save using a phone charger wart and separate wall wart power supply just for this? If the MS1 didn't squeeze into your CIOKS and If alternative to MS1 is in fact viable then recommendations on a lower profile wifi adapter with a lengthier USB-A to USB Mini cable to allow for placement of the pedal farther from the CIOKS or other capable PSU in a pedalboard scenario?

Hello friend. I also use a Mastermind LT and the Zoom Ms50G. Would it be possible to share the type of midi message used in the programming or, if you don't know, share your Mastermind file? I couldn't make it work with only PC commands.

Hi Vinicius. I’m pretty sure the Mastermind PC messages just change the presets assigned in the MS50G. I did find one CC control for the tuner! Make sure your usb cable is a comms cable and not just a charging cable though. Play around with it. Discover for yourself.

Quick question. When you change a preset with the MIDI controller, what happens when you then press the main foot switch on the MS50g? Does it turn on/off that particular effect, or does it advance to the next preset? Or does nothing happen?
