Ok, I was just making sure it can do PC for pedals. I am about to get this, their Midi Keyboard and their Midi Daw controller all for about $130 US. Thats a pretty awesome upgrade to my system for the price.

I just got the Mwave Chocolate and MS1 w/ USB adapter and have been playing around with it. I also have an MS50G - Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the Chocolate to talk to the MS50G via the USB dongle. I've set in Program Change A and also tried Advanced Custom mode assigning Bank A in PC mode with the corresponding channels but it doesn't seem to want to talk. Is there a setting that needs to be configured on the MS50G itself in order to get things to work properly? EDIT: I had to use a different USB cable - apparently something was wrong with the one I was initially using or it was charging-only (if that even exists for mini-usb). After swapping cables, it worked as expected
@thepedalpicassos Жыл бұрын
Hi Jeremy. I know I had to play with the MVave app to get the MS50G to respond. ALSO…some usb cables are “charge only” and not comms cables, so check that too.

Hello, greetings from Mexico, I have a question and I would like if you could help me, if you increase the bet and connect an expression pedal to the midi controller to be able to use the wah and whammy effect, is it possible?

Can you make a tutorial on how to do this? i dont quite get the USB dongle thing and how to connect it to the m-wave midi controller. do you need an external device to make the connection? can it be customized to switch between the pedals inside a patch or is it just to switch between patches?
@thepedalpicassos Жыл бұрын
Hi Gabriel. On our channel is a playlist for the MS50G and a few videos on wireless midi with the usb dongle and a wireless midi adapter or the MVave. I’m pretty sure you can only change patches with usb midi control on the MS50G.

please help me. Im using ZOOM MS-50G. The bluetooth works fine and its connected but I'm confused why I can't put and save/bank effects/preset. All the connections are correct and i followed all the toturials here in youtube. When I press M-VAVE to choose effects its not switching to the screen of ms-50g so I cannot save a different effects/preset. Thats my problem its not jumping any effects when i press my MS-50G and its updated now version 3.10... thanks

Make sure your usb cable is a communication cable and not just charging only. You also need to save your MS50G patch as a favorite: A,B,C etc.

Update- I called Zoom support to see if I could get any pinout information on the USB and they indicated they don't have the information. Does anyone out there have this information? What pin on the USB are midi related and the associated signals.

Is it possible to provide the midi changes from the pedal 1/4" TRS to a USB directly to the Zoom. I know this is possible with the Headrush MX5. The MX5 uses a 3.5 TRS for midi. I think ii may just a matter of creating a 1/4 TRS wired to the appropriate pins on the USB at the zoom. Any thoughts?
@thepedalpicassos Жыл бұрын
I think it is possible John. I’ll have to experiment again but I’m sure the TRS output can be configured for midi or expression out.
@johndunn5185 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply. I know the TRS will talk midi to the MX5 with it's TRS input. TRS 1/4 to 3.5mm straight through. ? for me is the USB pinout - to match the TRS up with the USB.
