Zoom Tribute

Former FBI profiler and once close ally to the Flash, Hunter Zolomon believes that to make Wally West a greater hero he must test him by being his greatest villain. Rick Cosnett will portray Edward "Eddie" Thawne version of zoom in the 2014 pilot, The Flash. Thawne is a recent transfer to the Central City Police Department, whose past is a mystery and who harbors a dark secret. the show will begin on October 17th

***** I stopped reading flash at around issue 110 or so of Wally's comic..... If I remember it right eobard stopped in Wally's time before he ever met Barry. Hunter Zolomon is new to me for the most part. I just don't understand why they are both called zoom (professor or not). Seems kinda unimaginative unless I am missing something.

+lamb of God Eobard was nicknamed "Professor Zoom" by his college students in his native future because of his knowledge of the Speed Force and the Flash Family who needless to say were totally oblivious to his criminal alter-ego(The college students I mean,not the Flash Family).Eobard was mainly called Reverse Flash as a villain in both The Comics and The Show. Professor Zoom is mainly used by his college students in his native future as well as casual Flash fans. Zoom is strictly Hunter Zolomon.Their powers don`t even work the same way.Reverse Flash originally used stolen Tachyonic Particles to emulate Flash`s power artificially and then developed his Negative Speed Force by reverse-engineering Barry`s powers thus making his Codename far more literal.Hunter on the other hand manipulates time and space to make the world move slower in relation to him.
