Anime Car 2D Animation Film (Cinematic style):
Testing his Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) Single Turbo conversion along the racing track. Dedicated to the car enthusiast for owning a dream car from the 90s.
One of my very first breakdowns on making animation in full color. It took 11 months, 5 or more weeks to make progress in mobile animation. This animation will make you feel the 80s-90s retro anime style.

This animation was inspired by the Japanese Anime of Initial D, Wangan Midnight, Shatokan Boogie (Bosozoku), Circuit no Ookami II: Modena no Ken (Ferrari), Goddamn (Rally Racing), Yoroshiku Mechadock (What's Up Mechadoc), Ex-Driver, and some other anime race car. It was also inspired by Mid Night Club, drifters in Touge, Japanese tuners, and professional racing drivers in Japan.
Car Used:
Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) North America Spec, Single Turbo conversion (JDM Kouki kit).

Fun Fact:
If you notice on the plate, Efini is the name of the RX-7 owner. Behind the name called "ɛ̃fini" was the series 6 model name of the production of RX-7 from 1992 - 1995. It is a meaning of luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Mazda that operated between 1991 and 1997 in Japan only.
The version of Kouki was the only one produced in Japan until 2002 along with Series 7 and Series 8. They have several specs along RX-7, some Type RB, R, RS, RZ, Spirit R, etc.
The difference between Zenki and Kouki. The Japanese word Zenki means "Early Period" in 1992 - 1995 while Kouki means "Late Period" in 1996 - 2002.
Although He converts into JDM Kouki on his Zenki RX-7 to make a modern look of his RX-7. It's a choice of building your own project car whether it's track, drift, or daily drive.

Yes, its very challenges along the effort on making film especially to the creators who liked to put some great background music. Somehow I will avoid on this copyright. @@ReaperGans Each of the scenes were sometimes below 24 fps. Among those frames, sometimes I go more than 500 to 1000 frames for making more than 30 seconds depends on the fps. Each of scenes I completely separate in each 30+ second animated video. Then I will full compile over the video editing.

This is inspiring. I want to do a sequel to one of my animated short films that usually plays in film festivals, but I'm not the greatest when it comes to cars. So I'm trying to watch how other 2D artists animate cars because I want to write the story, but I never do it because I keep having ideas for a cool car chase that I'm not even sure I could pull off or not. But thanks for giving me inspiration to keep thinking about it.

Yes, absolute very pain and lazy somehow you achieve your progress parts over the scene that you work on along the weeks so that after the months that you work and compile it on the editing. It will give you satisfaction of working along the weeks or months depends on the video if your into short clips minutes or 9-10 minutes.

I only do work for my own original 2D car animation just for experience fun on using this flipaclip app along the journey. Although I had a single request but its for my artist/animator friend purpose. Nevertheless I don't do commission or any request to work of this stuff. I will just stick on my own project stuff. Some Initial D fan made in 2D version will be soon to be happen.

Yeah, but as I said in my description, it was replicate among the JDM parts on the RX-7, which is western and LHD "Left Hand Drive" RX-7 owners buys in JDM Parts cause the original RX-7 production in america were only produced 1993-1995, as they call in Japan the zenki era. If you notice the bumper design and the shape of signal & fog lights.
