QUICK TIP!! if you already did the ai spline you can actually update the ui outline image through content manager if u go to content, tracks and then select your track. you will find two options in the bottom (update outline, for ui purposes, and update map, for ingame purposes) thank you so much for the tutorial, i got a lot of valuable tips and advices from it

Note: You don't need to remove and paste the track folder in assetto corsa all the time. Just replace the kn5 file when you are saving in KsEditor by double clicking or select and save.

when i do thing in 18:55 the small part of the road between two points just disappears. like you delete the repeating extra points, you got 2 points left that are close and you merge them. but in my case when i delete all the extra faces, the road and grass in between those close points are just gone. idk why the whole road between those two points gets deleted

However, what I did was to previously save a previous file version just before you applied the 'array' and the 'curve' modifiers to the road. Hey, thanks for the tutorial but I have 1 small question. I've exported my track and upon testing I found it's quire short. I then went to google earth and compared the sizes. My route IRL is 4.77km whereas the version in game is only 2.4, so about half the real size. What would be the best way to make the track bigger without affecting anything?

Just a tip for anyone exporting and checking things in game/kseditor a lot, and unless i missed it it's not mention in the video, SAVE PRESISTENCY after you set the shading values, this saves the settings you put and loads automatically once you reopen the track after making changes, if you don't the map is gonna look like the 1st time with the shadows and such all messed up

Hotlap start is recognised. place it AFTER the very last corner of your track when it goes onto the main straight again. Dead centre of the road, keep it far away from the grid.

I have a problem with the AI. When I start the race with more than 1 opponent (like 2 or higher), on the grid spawns only a bot. I put every AC_START_X (X is a number) position, from 0 to 21, but in anyways it spawns only one opponent. And when I set the AC_START_1 or 2, the car starts from the fourth o third position, spawn in the first position (above the first driver, i tried also large and different position, but the result is the same. I already check the name of the position). So what can i do? I didn't find anything about any solution of only one opponent spawn (also when i put more than one opponent, like 3-4). Ps: if this can help to find a solution about my problem, when i tried to set my start in the grid from 5-6th position, I spawn under the track and falling, but checking in Blender, the position of the START in this situation, is on the track at the same Y value of the START_0 or 1, the only two position that works perfectly. @@zoomingpasthi! Thanks for your reply! The problem wasn't the file ui.json, but the type of object that I used as "AC_START". I used empty object as AC_START_0 ect...but when I download your template, I used your triangle plane as AC START and it's works now! The problem was so the start position that the game couldn't identify as real position, because Idk why, but doesn't works with Empty object. (I always used empty object, but only for try the track and I never tried like this situation for AI opponent). Now it's works, I can play against bots! Thank you! (Ik I resolve this problem by myself, but also thanks to your project I resolve it!)

@@zoomingpast I finally found it. Its AC_AB_START, AC_AB_FINISH_L and its apparently for sprint tracks. Now I have to figure out how to make grass works and also how to make decent bush. I read the guide in assetocorsamods but I have no idea what they are talking about. Maybe you should teach us that too bro.
