@@anntares172 No it's not. If anything, Firefly would be a modern take on The Outlaw Josey Wales. Both are ensemble pieces about a civil war veteran that was on the losing side of the war, who becomes a wanted criminal. While Firefly certainly had a space-western feel, it was certainly not a remake of Sergio Leaone's Man with No Name Trilogy.
