But in this case, both the "HA" and "KAI" parts use different kanji. It means something like "supremacy of the ocean". But it somehow brings the feel of the original "hakai" word. Zoro's SECOND huge durability feat moment finally animated, and it was glorious. Even if it was only briefly, Zoro blocked a named combination attack from two Yonko. But I feel with Kaidou’s Haki he could break that barrier. In my opinion. Also with Kuma, we’ve seen Kuma repel attacks from the straw hats pre-timeskip. Who knows if he’ll still be able to block an advanced armament Haki punch.

Haki has no effect on foxy's devil fruit, if you get hit by the slow slow beam the haki won't protect you you'll still turn into slow motion. Haki doesn't work on bartolomeo's barrier because we saw in odens flashback the previous barrier devil fruit user defended odins strongest haki attack and it did nothing to the barrier. Haki doesn't work for everything, it also doesn't work on kuma who can repel attacks. That's because kuma can already be hit in the first place so using haki isn't going to make any different. Haki doesn't nullify a devil fruit, but it makes you able to hit it. And the way kumas power works is you have to hit it for him to repel it. So yeah you can already hit kuma and he repels the attack regardless if you have haki or not dude

Given the context of both series, it wasn’t meant to mean Destruction and more of the combination of Haō (Conquerer) and Kai (for sea). This Kanji (覇海) is for Kaido and Big Mom’s attack, while this (破壊) is the Kanji for Beerus’s “Hakai” attack.

If a bus is going 100mph and you stop it even for a sec or so, you still stopped/matched the bus . No matter how long it was. Zoro is beastly. Let's remember, out of all the paths, The Strawhats got used to taking the path of most resistance due to Luffy's decision making. That led to everyone, especially his first mate Zoro expect danger. Other crews like Kid's may have mastered their devil fruit but not haki due to not intentionally clashing with dangerous enemies. Law used intellegent tactics to gain access around the Red Line by becoming a Shikibukai and was well aware of the concept of haki due to Doflamingo but not the effects of it's developed extremities. Here, Kaido and Big Mom are proficient Haki users and even able to synchronize their attacks.

Dude, ​​⁠ Bajrang Gun would turn Zoro into dust and thats overkill, his base is enough. Hakai is overrated. It's two casual air slashes from characters who don't even fight with that type of moves normally. I bet Kaido's flame dragon could overpower it without too much difficulties. Zoro blocking the attack just downscales the attack because zoro isn’t that strong. What statements or feats other than hyperbolic proves this attack was stronger than bajrang gun Hakai is an AOE attack. You only get hit by so much of its impact as your body happens to cover. Bajrang Gun is a single solid attack. If you get in the way you take the full impact. Kaido and Big Moms attack may have been combined, but the input from each individual was very, very casual. In terms of feats and scaling/calcs its currently Bajrang Gun.

I try to hold back on complaints like this, but the way Toei turned this into a power struggle really takes away from the attack. In reality, Zoro blocks the attack for like a split second and buys Law just enough time to get them all to safety and he still practically dies from it.
