you gotta remember that Kaido is actually weaker in his full dragon form than he is in his base, because he is just a bigger target and in his dragon form he tends to just let people attack him so he can see if he’ll take damage or not. Against someone like Mihawk, none of that would even happen. Also Zoro isn’t just that strong, it’s solely because of Enma’s power and likely Odens haki that any of this is even possible.

Zoro is strong and it’s own strength if someone less skilled than zoro used enma the sword would devour all the users haki. @@demontiming3234 When Tenguyama Hitetsu give Enma to Zoro, and he cut off a cliff, Hitetsu told him that the sword drains the user's haki, and that if he were a normal swordsman, he would already collapsed. Now, imagine doing that while fighting a Yonko... Zoro is f$cking beast.

AGAIN, For Anime Only people, you should know that Oda (the author) himself directly commented about Enma and stated that Enma does not add any Haki to Zoro's attacks and it does not have anything to do with Oden's haki or powers. Everything you see is Zoro's power and haki alone. So you should know that Enma basically is a tool that can withstand such haki releases for such sword attacks. However, Enma also pushes the wilder to release more and more and stop putting limitations. Therefore, the longer you use Enma, the better your haki control becomes. Simple as that. Bottom line, No. Zoro is not stronger because of the sword. And the author came out and made that comment only because people were saying that the sword is the source of strength for Zoro. When kaido says "that strange haki", he is talking about Ryu, which is the haki that Oden also used and he was the only one using it against kaido AT THE TIME with the sword.

@@williamkaiser1005 Swords are classified by how sharp they are, and obviously finely crafted swords make better cuts than cheap swords. BUT NO SWORD has Haki inside, and this thing that people don't understand. Taking away some modified swords like Spandam's, the swords don't have any dormant power within them, or the old user's Haki, at best they have some unique "characteristics". The Enma does NOT own the old Haki of Oden, and no... there is no Oden inside that gives its power to Zoro, as I have seen writing by someone around. Oden is dead, the Enma has the characteristic of FORCINGLY releasing the Haki of those who use it, and this can also lead to death for this is dangerous. But the Enma can only pull out the Haki that a person ALREADY OWNS, it does not give random powers. All the blows that you see and that you will see of Zoro, are all thanks to his Haki. The Enma if we really want to give it credit, is Forcing Zoro to learn faster to use and bring out all his potential in the Haki, as if it were a sort of shortcut. Then if we talk about BLACK Swords, then MAYBE the situation changes, precisely because it seems that the black swords are permanently infused with the haki of its user, and then if the Enma were a black sword, most likely Oden's Haki would be helping Zoro . But the Enma is not a black sword so these speeches do not make sense.

you have to appreciate Toei when they mainly draw Kaido’s Kaido form in 2D. Nowadays even typical seasonal animes prefer to use CGI instead of drawing them. Fate series, One Punch Man ss2, Attack on Titan ss1 and 2, and so on, so I’m really surprised when Toei still tries to use 2D drawing. And tbh Kaido’s cgi looks good, much better thsn One Punch Man’ season 2.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m not feeling the choreography in one piece at all. The animation is top tier, but the way the sword attacks and hand to hand combat looks is lacking. There’s no reason for part one of naruto to have better fighting scenes than 2022 one piece. Zoro literally just jumped, spin in air, land on ground, kaido cut🤡 that’s some attack huh😂😂🤣

Yea I been saying this every other fight in wano has way better choreography. Even the episode before was just big attack after big attack which makes the fight bland. You go back and watch killer vs zoro snake man vs katakuri. Luffy vs kaido they all have good choreography.

As cool as one piece still is, and it really still is, what made me fall in love with it 25 years ago was how relatively grounded it was. Zoro expertly and acrobatically deflecting every single attack from hatchan’s six sword style is still more badass to me than this pinata of colors and auras and dragon ball style energy attacks. Remember sanji against that weird shield guy? Swerving and dodging attacks with a cigarette in his mouth. So sick

I feel like the anime sometimes tries to do way to much and it just makes the scene look dull to me. I prefer zoros old style of this attack. Too many lights and special effects on the aura just ruins the attack itself.

Next Oden? hes far surpassed oden. Oden got one good hit in by a less experienced Kaido and got whopped in the end. Zoro’s fighting a much stronger Kaido and is effortlessly cutting him up.
