Although we can ship the character, please do not the actor guys. We can fangirl/fanboy however we want unless to not cross those boundaries.

Yeah I think shipping for fun is fine and making this video is a nice way to show this. I just worry when people are saying Oda should now start changing his story to fit a ship that was never meant to happen in the canon story. Just like the Yamato gender debate which lead to people saying Oda has to be punished for his recent drawing of Yamato with the other girls in the story, just let the guy write his masterpiece.

Zoro and Nami actually had crazy chemistry in the pre-timeskip Anime and Manga. Go back and watch the scenes when Zoro saves her from Buggy's crew. The softness with which he asks "are you hurt?" is like nothing he's ever done. He is also visibly agitated / annoyed when Sanji flirts with Nami when they first meet him in the Baratie. And when Nami passes Zoro his swords against the Black Cat pirates, it's like she physically swoons when he says 'thank you' with a smile. Oh! And who can forget him winding her up at the Arlong Park Pool when he throws himself in? Or when he saves/carries her during Alabasta Arc. Zoro has, officially, saved Nami the most- more than Luffy and Sanji. Nami has also been the most agitated when Zoro was injured - when he got kneed by Oars Jr, her scream for Zoro is louder than any other Straw Hat. And when he's about to be killed by Kizaru, she locks up in fear and then nearly collapses when he's saved. Even post timeskip, Nami and Zoro continue to be paired together in a pretty significant way - when he saves her from Monet and says 'Don't go for the weak ones', Nami is so insulted by Zoro calling her weak that until that moment where she had been running, she suddenly turns and lays the smack down on Monet. And don't forget that whilst Sanji has her body, she sends Zoro to protect her dignity out of everyone in the crew - and when Sanji falls over in Nami's body, Zoro's reaction is to try and save 'her', so much so that Brook remarks it looks romantic! Its the only ship, imo, among all of the Straw Hats that make even a lick of sense. Luffy has absolutely zero romantic interest in anyone or anything that isn't the One Piece or Food. Sanji x Nami is piss poor, because Sanji is literally in love with any woman that breaths in his general direction. She sees him as little more than a younger brother who is easy to manipulate. Robin x Zoro are a good friend combo, but they have too much of an age gap for it to make sense, and people only ship her with Zoro because of their similar personalities. Nami x Zoro is literally perfect - he gets lost, she never gets lost. They both love drink, and money. They both use weapons with three parts (three Clima-Tact, Three Swords), Green and Orange are complimentary colours, they bicker even more than Sanji x Zoro and yet he constantly protects her, and Nami is even connected to Zoro's backstory/character arc because she adores Tashigi. FURTHERMORE, if you look up Oda's manga 'Monsters', the two main characters (and love interests) are Ryuma and Flare - who happen to look like Zoro and Nami. I am 100% convinced they are reincarnations or something, or Oda intended them to be carbon copies of his original less successful Manga.

From all the ships in the One Piece universe (like the fan-ships) Zoro/Nami always made the least sense to me. I've always thought they had more of a sibling vibe between them. I agree with pretty much everything you've written about their relationship, just completely without any romantic conotation. If anything I always thought Zoro was ace to be honest or at least totally uninterested in anything romantic/sexual. He was even the only one who did not even peek during the Alabaster bathing scene.

From my point of view as a girl, I think Mackenyu is that main element that makes this chemistry possible. His handsome face, cool demeanor, the mysterious vibe he exudes, that stare and that charisma are what make him "shippable" with anyone. I mean, he could give that rare smile to Luffy and I would still feel that chemistry haha or give Sanji that long killer stare and it would still make me smile watching him. Haha Makes me realize, I would love to see this guy as a main lead in a Romcom movie or series.

Well, good chemistry is something only possible with the energies of 2 people so it's not only because of him. You can see there is more like rivalry with Sanji and with Loofi it's clearly a friendship/brotherhood thing. It's only with Nami that you can feel there is this friendship with a hint of tension and it's clearly because of them both. Netflix was definitely trying something there despite the author said not to do that 😅 but if there was no chemistry between them, we wouldn't even notice this.

That chemistry has always existed in anime, manga and now live action, but as a secret we have fans because there is the non-romance discourse between nakamas. Even so, it is my ship for the end of the story, because otherwise Zoro the demon will get lost and there is nothing like the witch Nami to guide him

If we are talking about guiding Zoro, I think Perona did that job more than others. She did it so well, Zoro was able to brag about being 1st to Shabondy Island. And she is closer to being a witch than Nami. Though I don't particularly ship Zoro and Perona, to be honest, she's had more time with Zoro than the Strawhats though I think it is getting close now.

a lot of one piece OG fans already tried but we have been failed until today. And it's been 25 YEARS. Oda can definitely write romance, but I believe he don't think he can manage to suddenly put the drama of romance between crew . But the good news is Oda approve of relationship of straw hats crew with people outside of the straw hats. That means... my OTP ships of Luffy X Boa Hancock can become reality in OPLA. The only other things that can make the pairing comes true probably after everything is over when they found the One Piece and straw hat pirates officially disbanded.

@@MagetoLp they apologized? from the article i saw they didn't apologize, they simply said there wouldn't be romance between the crew members because that's the author of the manga doesn't want it. they stated that mackenyu and emily just had very good chemistry and that even though they didn't intend to make their bond and scenes seem romantic, everyone is free to their own interpretation. ships aside i'm glad they gave them more moments together bc it's a duo we don't get to see as much post time skip in the anime/manga but in the live action they were often paired up together and had great scenes.

In the manga/anime I don’t ship any strawhat with another. But the live action is a very different thing. To me, it feels a little like a very good fanfiction and this I‘d be fine with a ship being more pursued. For the manga/anime I prefer shipping strawhats with people outside of their crew, e.g. Pudding and Sanji. For Zoro I am a lot less sure, but I like Tashigi and Perona and their chemistry/interactions with Zoro.
