Love this, Zoro has always been my favorite since i first started the series since the early 2000s. It makes sense, if you want to be the best, you need to be able to beat almost everyone. You can’t be “the worlds greatest swordsman” that lost, you feel me?

I have so many times I've thought "Zoro is amazing" but none can compare to me... to that moment when he was willing to sacrifice himself just to give Luffy the chance to accomplish his dream, such a wonderful character indeed

Yeah zoro is a good role model for sure. the idea or concept of his character is what every person should strive for. to be the absolutely best in what you want to do before it's too late and you are too old to reach the peak of it. And if you fail, well at least you tried

why ...... is this ........ the most godlike, incredible, you know what fuck it. I can't even possibly begin to elegantly explain why i love this video/analysis so damn much and why it's amazing. I've been meaning to do a vid like this for some time but I wanted to focuse on other projects and this not even going into explicit detail about interruptions in my life or wanting to become a better writer or at least waiting for wano to wrap up before I begin since that seems to mark a very crucial turning point in his character. I was kinda scared when i realized I wanted check back on your channel after the months that had past after I requested a zoro analysis under my foxygamer5k account only to see the thumbnail of this video, because i was worried your analysis would kill the purpose of mine. Tbh there were a few points i wanted to address that you did, but so much better than i ever could've hoped or dreamed to have expressed properly and with so much finesse. I too found Zoro to be an inspiring role model as a character ever since his initial clash with mihawk and I've loved him(and that specific fight which is my favorite in the entire series btw) to death and have wanted to model my life after Zoro but came to a similar realization. I literally just saw this and it's already my favorite if not one of my favorite videos I've ever seen on this platform, and trust me you've had some tough competition. The fact that I lost track of your channel for a while and neglected to subscribe makes me feel ashamed. These kind of writing/story analysis videos have been my drug these past few years so your stuff is right up my alley. Ya know I've always pondered the thought of each straw hat (or at least some of them) representing certain core aspects of Oda's personality, like Luffy embodying his passion and childlike sense of wonder or humor, sanji carrying a lot of the same pervyness, and for Zoro it has got to be the unyielding and straight up godly work ethic and drive. It can't be a coincidence that they are both workoholics who go to bed at 2am and wakeup at 5am. I still wanna attempt a zoro analysis of my own at some point to test my skill and for the fun of it(as well as expressing my dedication to the character). As for the whole becoming the greatest writer, I too feel a need to learn from and surpass other, not sure if I want to necessarily reach the top and I don't mean to challenge you but I hope we cross paths on that journey. Thank you so much for making this work of art that i feel even exceeds the quality of many other great analysis's that i have experienced one piece or otherwise. Keep it up my man

First, I’d like to thank you for the very expressive kind words. Its comments like these that help me know that I am at least somewhat accomplishing what I set out to do with these videos. As to the concept of putting off tackling certain concepts, I know I certainly understand that. There are plenty of scripts I’ve put off in the past, and continue to do so, for a multitude of reasons. Waiting for the right time, getting better at script writing, losing the motivation after putting it off. Though, the core reason is usually not feeling like I can deliver a good enough product, as I know the topic can be delivered with. Being scared of wasting a good idea. The thing about that is, in all honestly, there is no execution that can’t be improved upon, and an endless number of angles it can be tackled from. Even if you where to go for it, and fall short of what you want, you can always try again, from another perspective, with more experience accumulated. The idea that the straw hats represent pieces of Oda in some way, is something I’ve thought a lot about as well. Especially, with Oda talking about how he relates to Luffy, and other Mangaka (such as the Death Note creators) pointing out how similar he is to Luffy. Ah, yes, improving at writing. Even just having a desire to grow and surpass people, already puts you way ahead of most. Even though you don’t seem to want to compete against me, I still believe if you stick at writing, the odds of coming across me at some point are fairly good.

I wasn't even aware of this series until right now. I like it's visuals, but it probably will be a bit before I watch/read it and a very low chance I will make a dedicated video on it.

Why do people struggle the pronounce Roronoa? "Ro-Ro-Noa" Its not that hard
@WritingCorner3 жыл бұрын
(to* pronounce) / (It's*) / (hard.*). That isn't quite the right way to type out the phonetic sound of Roronoa. It would be Ro-ro-no-a or, Row-row-no-ah. Depending on if you're using the Romaji, or English versions.
@notorioushkm973 жыл бұрын
@@WritingCorner it kinda baffles me at times cuz after watching hundreds of eps, some folk still can't say it right. If he was a side character then I'd understand but he's part of the main cast.
@WritingCorner3 жыл бұрын
@@notorioushkm97 Yeah; but they don't say his last name too, too much. Plus, a lot of people are manga readers. Then of course, Americans are also notoriously bad at pronouncing words from other languages.
