I know that Mr. Kazuki Takahashi was still alive when the series had its ran. But for me the series died with its creator. Don't know how involved he was with Gx and forward. But the earlier series at least had some of Yugioh's charm.

I heavily disagree. Ashita no joe is much better, especially with most recent arcs of HNI. It's just repetitive and dragged out now with stale comedic moments.

Boxing saved my life. I started watching ashita no Joe after I stepped into a gym for the first time. For the first time I felt alive, I felt heard and relaxed when me and my sparring partners throw leather. For the first time I felt good when I get compliments for my speed and power. This anime made me realize that no matter what happens, keep fighting in fire until your white ashes. I will go pro and win big one day and it’ll be a privilege dying by the hands of someone great in the ring.

I guess the wrighters whole point he wanted to do was show you can have an overpowered anime character and still have him lose at the end. Kind of like how Pokemon Ash loses more then he wins. I liked the ending but i agree it felt rushed at times. Like some characters could have done somethings but of course just the anime trope "oh let's make them dumb and stunned for 5 seconds and die". I felt like the anime was rushed to get to the second season. I guess he did really have plans to throw twists and turns like season 2 was/is going to be messed up as hell. I hope not psychologically but hey i wont complain but i hope it doesnt tirn into something like re:ZERO and mind f us. 💀

I am a boxer not a professional yet but I have always been and I have always wanted to become a boxer and when I read ashita no joe I felt understood for the first time in my life I work a job I dislike just so I can have the opportunity to stay in the ring where I feel alive and I will never stop fighting although it may be silly I want to live a life of fighting because that's all I know and the idea of dying in the ring is the biggest privilege I can think of, so one day all of you reading I want you to know I will give it my all to reach the world and let you all see me as I burn into white ashes boxing saved me and boxing also trapped me I felt alive for the first time when I stepped in the gym and I want to live in it as long as I can. I disagree on the Ussop fight. He doesn’t view Ussop fighting against the merry being replaced as him getting in the way of pirate king. He’s getting pissed because he understands the merry is dying and is torn up himself at having to leave it behind and Ussop is pouring salt into that wound

Luffy did train before the 2 year time skip. He mentioned it to Kuro when he beat him that he trained his muscles. And again, when he revealed Second Gear to Bluno. He stated that he wasn't strong enough, which is why he came up with second gear before he even got to Enies Lobby.

Oof I came back to this channel hoping to see some honest redemption "I was wrong" video, but the fact you're doubling down on your opinion despite the fact it really, really did well is just sad. If you want to build a channel, just be honest. No shame in that. As a manga fan, I loved the show and so did most of the world it seems, old and new fans alike. It wasn't perfect, but it certainly wasn't bad nor mediocre. In fact, it was great. Looking forward to your newer videos on this, if you haven't completely dropped youtubing after this lol.

I do not want to build the channel. I thought the show (thus far) was very bad. Videos will come, but I am always juggling a lot of projects (have book novel deadline Wednesday). (And to be honest I lost a lot of steam after seeing the quality of the first episode). Hopefully, not too much longer for videos. But I will not be sugar coating anything in either direction. I'm going to do what I always do and simply talk about it as objectively as possible.

I watched it years ago, living the life of a impoverished student. At that time, as i clearly remember the point of the show for me was to tell a vision that, 'what the true price of freedom is?' Also his drunk coah crying and screaming for hopeful tomorrow, made me tear up a little. Yes true man take the responsibility and open themselves to universe for what may come...
