Hi there. María is 55, her husband in the back playing the keytar is 47. Nebulossa is a duo. Remember Spain is part of the Big 5, so they qualify directly to the Grand Final. When it comes to the performance, You can notice they are enjoying and having fun. They are trying to take a message to the audience in a joyful way. No matter if they win or not, no matter if her range is poor... as far as the message is delivered. Nebulossa will shine in Malmö, people will sing along from the top of their lungs, because Zorra is already an anthem, that claims empowerment and freedom. If you dive into the lyrics you'll understand the message of the song and why is so popular among Spanish speakers. It's about the vindication of a word (zorra=vixen) generally used to degrade women for being free and do what they want.

I´m expat living in Spain and when I went out with some 45+ somethings for a night we called ourselves Zorras and so did some of the crowds in jest - it´s a joke but some people take it too serious - why can´t women men of all ages enjoy themselves without being labelled in a box? It will come a time when we cannot go out and party ...only sofa surf lol

I think what you miss (and what Eurofans who don't understand Spanish) are going to miss... is the message. Surely reading the (uncensored) lyrics you will understand why the audience behaved like this proudly shouting "Z0RRA". Don't say "Z0RRA" cause it basically sounds like "S0RRA". Try to say "THOR-RRA" instead of "Z0RRA" cause in Spanish the "Z" sounds like a strong "TH". And yes, she has no voice and the song is not very good. But who cares? She says that at 55yo she doesn't care casuse she don't want to be a great singer. Cause it's no longer a song... NOW IT'S AN ANTHEM!!!
