The guitar solo really is a beautiful tribute to the best live versions Zeppelin played. I hear MSG, Earls CT and some 1977 in there.. I saw these guys a couple months ago and the everyone had a blast. Their show exceeded my expectations. I've seen other tributes including Jason's and like this better.

Pretty sure I saw these guys in a small bar in Colorado in the Mid 90"s. I don't know if it's the same band members, I just remember it was great, it might have even been a work night, but I was a Huge Zep fan and had to see the show, I was too young to have seen them live when they were together, I'm 54 today... time fly's you know.

I love Let Zepplein, and this song. But, why aren't bands writing their own unique Rock music? Is it because the music is free online and so no one buys the records to finance the tours? Rock is the best music ever.

I don't know if this is the same band I am going to see at Austin City Limits Thursday night but I hope they are even better than this band. I have never gotten to see Led Zeppelin but was in a long line to buy tickets to see them in 1975 but the concert was canceled while everyone was in line. I think I read somewhere in the past decade that it was because Robert Plants son died is why it was canceled. Very sad to hear about such a terrible loss.

Was it the same band? If not what was the band's name? I just saw Get The Led Out recently and thought they were fantastic! I had 30 great tickets guaranteed back in 1980 when John Bonham died and the tour was cancelled. It was mail order only and I think the limit was 6 tickets per address. So I used 5 addresses and took them directly to the main Post Office in Downtown Detroit as soon as the newspapers hit the stands in the middle of the night. They actually had an employee outside just for the Led Zep mail. Read later they had received 2,500 envelopes that night and those were to be opened first. I was 17 and scalped tickets for my extra money. I was going to make a fortune plus see my favorite band. Just terrible news all around when Bonham died. I'm going to see Zoso this weekend in Ohio. Looking forward to it.

Don't save it. let go of any expectations and just enjoy the night. If you're a Zep fan it'll be fun. We still go to the Museum of Natural History to see Dinosaur skeletons that are only 10% real, but we're in awe of what they were when we see the exhibit....not quite the same but you don't have that many options.

Cover bands......No one can cover Zeppelin, especially those who feel they have to dress and act the motions of the individual. The only cover band who stands alone is Zepparella, an all female band who do their own thing and sounds really good at covering. Period. Why I can't enjoy this, 45s starts by glissandoing up to the 1st note - completely out of character with the song. 57s, 1m15s, 1m20s ... etc etc etc comes in too late - yuck. The singer take horrible liberties with phrasing and really spoils what had so much potential. Couldn't stand any more than this. 4m20s tempo way too slow. 6m0s - they got that right. 6m12s - tamourine? really?
