I've been working with PCs for over 20 years and price has zero bearing on reliability. I wouldn't be surprised if this card runs for 5-6+ years. You won't wanna use it that long, though. You'll be replacing a card like this in months or a year.

Good review but there are a few errors: 2:36 - You say you can't overclock it but then at 2:48 you say you'll be seeing how far you can push the card in the full review on your website. 2:44 - 17008 MHz? 3:09 - You say that the card will occupy 2 spaces on your board and one on your case instead of 1 on your board and 2 on your case.

1: I said it "bears no overclock" - as in no factory overclock. Its at stock settings. 2: Yes, although many quote 7000, the specific frequency is - www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b3943/zotac-gtx-1050-mini 3: You can quite clearly see that the card has a *single PCI bracket* with one row of ports - taking up one space on the case. However the height of the card means it will occupy two spaces on the motherboard as it will prevent another device being installed in the below PCI Express. No errors at all there!

Yes. I have a GTX 1060 which I use with a HDMI to VGA adapter for $4 (converter more exactly). Just be sure that it is not just a cable and it has some kind of a "box" on it. You can't transfer digital HDMI signal to an analog VGA receiver/monitor with a normal cable, it has to have something on the cable that makes the signal analog. Be careful if the cable can actually make the signal analog, don't just buy it from Ebay or something like that (or read the reviews if it works)

No - you always need thermal paste between the heatsink and CPU/GPU. What was meant by direct contact is - there is no copper baseplate or heatpipes, the GPU meets the heatsink directly.

RX 460 runs DX12 games better than the GTX 1050.. the only hurdle that the GTX 1050 faces are games with DX12.. but i do believe you can change that in the settings...

Note that the fan on this card will not drop below 45% speed, and as a result, the card is a lot louder than it needs to be. I've contacted Zotac who tell me this is "normal behavour", so it's not that I have a faulty card. If you want a quiet card, look elsewhere.

I think you were using DX 12 for BF1, because the GTX 1050 do better than the RX 460 unless you're using DX 12 which affect both card's performance negatively, because its not well optimized on BF1. edit: please give more info in your future videos about the sitting used, best of luck with your channel.

Well, I see that for some games, the nvidia is more optimized and in other games, the most optimized is the amd. Well, I think that if you have an assemblated pc (like mine...) with a 500W PSU without PCI-E connectors, or just the 4 pin, you can go for the 1050, right? :D
