To me, Doctor Who represents the best humanity has to offer, which is stories. Stories (at least the good ones) takes you literally anywhere you want. The only limit is what you can write down and what you can’t. Just words on a page. And that’s not all, because storytelling is, I think, about creating whole worlds and taking care of them. It’s simply about life. And all of that is represented in this show. And god, I love it to death. Happy 60th!

Y’know, when/if that terrible, horrible day comes when Doctor Who gets cancelled again (for whatever reason), the quote “say it like you’re going to come back” is really the note I would want the show to end on. Not sad. Not saying like “oh, we’re so sad, boo hoo”, but hopeful. Saying like “yes, the show’s ending, but even if it’s impossible, we still hope that it’s going to come back.” Because that’s really the only goodbye I would accept. (I hope that this comment makes at least some bit of sense)

I have to say, the part that always gets me is when 13 is running to her TARDIS, with the lyrics "how rare and beautiful it is to even exist". Very nice vid, but the "new" Doctor doesn´t deserve to be in it, she stands for everything what is wrong and false with Doctor Who today. And mark my words, if they continue, this will be the end of an franchise...till they reboot it again in 10-20 years. :(
