When I was around 9 or 10, I got lost in a forest. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy. When night fell, my dog was terrified of everything, and I was running in circles. I also remember seeing lights and hearing small footsteps behind me - for years, I thought it was my dog, but he was right next to me the whole time. I also recall some birds jumping around… The forest was full of strange, unknown things. This song brings back those feelings, unsettling at times, but it’s impressive how the artist captured my childhood memories so well.

If you were here to feel alone and get to the purpose of this piece of art, your brain wouldn't even want anyone's overtly objectified opinion to spoil what it was using as a tool to find peace/grow/recuperate. Next time you're yearning for lonely time, just fuck everyone and do what you do. Your brain will be at true peace. I listen to some chick play the acoustic when I'm escaping. In no way shape or form; does my opinion matter to anyone but myself. I am ultra comfortable in that fact.
