The guy who was in the Zapu Education Department at that time was Mthuthuki. In mid 1979 one of the Mathuthu brothers took over from Mthuthuki. The Secretary for Education then was Phibeon Makoni.

We knew this story about the Zapu pilots.The idea was to train Zanu people as pilots. Zapu students became engineers.The lie within Air Zimbabwe was that they failed basic airline training.On the Zanu side thats when Muzenda's son became pilots.Fact Captain Muzenda was a midiocre pilot
