I think why Mark keeps appearing in the franchise is because he dealt with alternate's since he was three, and would know how to deal with them better than anyone if he didn't let Cesar's death get to him too much to the point he let his gaurd down and let his emotions take over him, I see him as the key to defeating the alternates, and going by MatPat's theory exactly what the intruder wants, so maybe the intruder tried to warn him of this situation upcoming but Mark was too young to understand anything

Mark was actually infected by M.A.D, as before he was just scared, wanting to go back home. Then, when the effects of M.A.D came in, he started going insane,, scribbling aomething along the lines of "WHO HAVE I BEEN PRAYING TO ALL THIS TIME?", then he attempted to shoot the Alternate, but to no avail. The suicidal urges of M.A.D presumably came in, and Mark shot himself. Since Alternates use M.A.D to kill their victims, Mark never won against the alternates, he lost.

For me, this really captures marks integrity, Phase 1 of N, he is stronger than ever, and having the information, he is not doubting himself that he will win, and is making sure he can continue winning, Gabriel then comes in, and He starts feeling a bit less confident, thinking "...Is this who I've been praying to my whole life..?" and is starting to shake, but once N comes back, he returns to his own mentality, slightly wavering. After N has shown no signs of giving up, he still continues to fight, not letting this "DEMON" get to him, that is until he impersonates cesar. When he hears Cesar's voice, he starts to break down and get angry, losing his composure. He then starts to panic when N comes back into the room. Slightly scared but more angry than scared before shooting the shots he can. In the end, he accepts his fate, but does not letting the alternate kill him, killing himself to keep him safe. and keep others safe, as so he thought.

The Alternate is doing everything it can to mentally bring Mark down. Using Cesar’s face and voice to lower his guard, and once it reveals itself, Mark knows what it’s going against. Once Cesar’s part begins, Mark then realizes what this means.. it really settles in that his friend had been dead, and this impostor was toying with him. Which is why the line; “YOU F###### B####!” following up with him firing is impactful. He’s showing anger in his expression, as tears roll down his cheeks. I assume him now utilizing his gun is out of blind rage, or because the Alternate is nearing. Once he bought himself enough time, and his fate was nearly set, he ended it off repeating the line.. and shot himself in the head. Giving the Alternate what it wants, but still putting up a fight.

In the very first mandela catalogue, they tell 911 operators to not attempt to help a caller reporting an alternate encounter. It was deemed so risky to even talk over the phone with an alternate present at the other side of the line that it could possibly reveal the fears of the operators. It is so unbelievably dangerous to even have an alternate hear you, let alone to hear IT. We see Mark here, so strong-willed he rap battles not only an alternate, but literal SATAN all without being mentally broken. He fights to the bitter end, and likely only takes his own life as he doesn't want whatever painful death the alternate likely would've gave him, and it was just a wiser decision overall to make it quick and painless.

Honestly, I just thought at first it would be a generic Triple Trouble like song, but damn I'm so glad I was wrong The use of both Cesar and The False Shepherd are pretty much justified and just add more to this encounter, it just make it's amazing, specially the new voice lines. In-game concept: In the first half, Mark is on the call with Cesar. Before N comes in, the screen glitches out. After N comes in, the second half begins. Mark pulls out his gun. When Gabriel comes in, the style changes to the Beginner's Bible's style. A mechanic is used where sand covers the screen (since they are now in Israel.) and new sprites are shown depicting Mark hiding behind a rock as his clothes and hair are being affected by the winds of the harsh desert. When N returns, Mark is back at his house, but debris is all over him and the style reverts to normal. There are bullet notes that must be pressed, or a Game Over occurs. When "Cesar" is at Mark's door, it cuts to him looking at the opened door. Flashbacks occur and the bullet notes are gone. In the final section, Mark looks more desperate with him shaking. N is closer to him with a grin on its face. Mark proceeds to shoot more bullet notes, and then when he commits suicide, the screen turns red right after we see one frame of him dead.

I like to think N used Cesar just to destroy mark's morals in later parts of the song, because he was really close to stop fearing by being brave enough to shoot him. And you know the only way to defeat alternatives is to conquer your fears, they cant do anything to you on their own.

This is the first remix of Encounter that is genuinely a remix. Not just changing the instrumental but also remixing some of the vocals too. That's why I don't like so many remixes in the fnf community, because most of them only change the backround music instead of actually changing up the song like a remix is SUPPOSED to do. Holy shit! This is phenomenal! A creative part about this remix is how other character's from the Vol's/episodes, such as Gabriel, Cesar and even Adam and Jonah's argument were added in-beetween, but you can't forget the gunshots. It makes it feel sorta like a boss fight, not just the music making that tense, but the fact that Mark is given a set of: 7 bullets to use, trying to kill N. I love how Mark used his last bullet to reference the part in Vol. 1 at the end (just like in the original mod), great touch! This is the best, better yet the most creative remix for Encounter! That's the coolest remix for the mod i've heard. It fits the charaters so well. I love how Mark gets more and more desesperate, when he noticies the Alternate tricked him and most probably killed Cesar, and he goes ape sh1t, it's obvious he's griefing and scared, but is pretending to be loud and scary, the "pretend you are not scared when you are terrefied" act fits so well its outstanding!!! Perfectly captures the horror feeling. The way N keeps toying with Mark shows a lot about the way this alternate acts, and at the end it looks like it is "putting wood on fire", by changing it's form to Cesar and smile even wider, while Mark keeps shooting at him, a way to show it is stronger than Mark, and won't die easily, amazing!! When the Sus Gabriel (Yes, that's his fannon name💀) took over it SHOCKED me, i didnt expect it at all, and with adam and jonah?? I never would've TOUGHT of them!! That's so creative.
