Great video! What make/model of jack is that?
@JsCrazyCutzLLC6 ай бұрын
Thanks, that jack came from HomeDepot.com. It was about $600 shipped. It sooooo ridiculously heavy . It stopped working for me after a couple of years and I gave it away. I didn't really like it 🤷 I now use a similar style jack but, it's aluminum from Harbor Freight ($200) I prefer it 😏☝️

at about 20 minutes into the video he re-engages the hydros (a 1/4 turn with screwdriver) however it was not shown when he first dis-engaged the hypdos. Is dis-engaging the hydros necessary to change the filters and replace the oil?
@JsCrazyCutzLLC Жыл бұрын
I show myself dis engaging the hydro's at the 11:03 minute mark . I know people who skip this part of the procedure but, I've always done it this way for years and that is supposed to be the proper procedure according to the service manual 🤷
@g.d.76294 жыл бұрын
I recommend driving one of these before you buy. The hydros are stiff till they warm up too my wife complains about that.

Thanks for video 👍. Have you done hydros on your z3x? I don’t see any good way to get to the vent bolts on top of the trans axles.
@JsCrazyCutzLLC4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I don't have a Z3X. I've got a Z2 and yes it is very difficult to get to the bolt for vent at the top. I haven't had the chance to change my hydro oil in my Z2 yet.

Do u prefer the is3200 vs the isx3200? All those adjustable rods on the isx's seem like a headache waiting to happen. Enjoy the videos.👍

Hey brother quick unrelated question. how do you release the hydros to be able to push the mower? I am sure its something stupid I am just not seeing under there.
@JsCrazyCutzLLC Жыл бұрын
They have a round flat headed screw at the bottom towards the front. Your gonna need to turn that screw one 1/4 turn to release the hydro's. I usually reach across the mower with a screwdriver to release the hydro's, for example: if I wanted to release the the left side, I would kneel down on the right side of the mower deck and reach across with a screw driver.
@timd55974 жыл бұрын
Thanks...I have same mower have you noticed uneven tire wear on your last video when you changed tires?
@JsCrazyCutzLLC4 жыл бұрын
Yes actually, Our tires wore more on the inside after about 500 hrs on our first pair. We dismounted them and rotated the tires to where the worn side was on the outside.

Why did you release the hydros?
@JsCrazyCutzLLC4 жыл бұрын
That's how I purge the air that might be present in the lines. Some people skip that step but , I do it because, that's the way I was taught 🤷♂️

Lol run cheap oil in the most important expensive part on the machine 😮
@JsCrazyCutzLLC6 күн бұрын
@@fastlanecreations122 Lol 😂 I'll have you know it only $5k to replace those hydro's and $7k to replace the engine.Ask me how I know? 🤔 The engine just failed a month ago at 7 years old (2200 hours ) and I use EXSPENSIVE synthetic oil for my engines because, that's what they recommend. However, the hydro's never had a lick of trouble (knock on wood) Ferris recommends a 20w50 regular conventional oil for the Hydro Gear pumps. So that is what I have always used for years 🤷

My snapper pro 500 hr oil change has about 8 hrs on it oil already looks blackish. Wish I had known hydros were a bitch too. Mower is very powerful but Im getting rid of it. Oil filter$40+ 15w50 synthetic oil F that noise.
