I agree, Want to see ZT 'Back in the game" MY current most expensive knife is a ZT 0308BLKTS. it's too much knife to EDC for sure so it stays in the roll most of the time. This one looks really sweet.

I Remember when ZT action was there Gold standard for action everyone compared their knives to it "yeah the action is good but it's not a ZT" was often heard. In today's world we expect good action on a $50 knife. ZT has the ability to make awesome knives that modern consumers want and at a good price as well competitive to other USA made knives. Would love to see some testing to see if their newer knives have a good heat treat or not as well. This one is definatly a good example of what they can do with a modern knife, hopefully they continue to innovate and not just rest on past succes. Thanks for the great vid Kevin and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

Larrin Thomas has always argued that according to his own CATRA testing S90V has a better edge retention than S110V. Blade HQ has a steel knowledge page with steel classification according to 4 criteria and they follow L Thomas information that S90V has superior ER over S110v. L Thomas is the only person and (someone who I presume knows his stuff) who stated that. S90V is customary classified as holding edge better than S110V. Interesting discussion to be had.

i have always had suspicions that zt are assembled in the US not made in the US due to their unusually low pricing for a US mfg knife.

While I used to love ZT, they definitely went to sleep for a while. The 0393 and the 0609 were my first high end purchase’s like 4 years ago. How time flies.

Nice knife! Do you know if the Kershaw Shallot in 110V is the same as that used in that ZT model? I would assume so, but not sure (the shallot I have I bought around 10 years ago or so). Thanks.

I love the original 0470, even though I agree that the flipping detent is a little light on it. Detent on this one factory special is noticeably improved. Considering how much prices have risen across the board lately, I think $340 for this S110V limited run USA made knife is really not bad considering how good it is. Carrying mine every day since I got it! I also noticed that their recent factory specials, the 0022, 0640, and 0470 were all models new for 2019. I'm curious to see if they'll do any 460Ti, 0562Ti, and 393GLCF factory specials next, the other models that were new for that year.

I liked the 0770CFM4 that was the last ZT I even looked at and still want one. The Natrix is the budget version and they have a fuller so you might be able to flick them.

I really like some of ZTs design except one key factor, I need thumb studs or a hole. I won't buy flipper only because I won't carry flipper only. I wish ZT would offer more than flipper only.
